Thread: Amnesty Battle Update 9/25 Tide is almost turning!

Thank you for contacting me about the DREAM Act, introduced by a bipartisan group of senators.

I believe every child, regardless of ethnicity or nationality, should have the opportunity to get a higher education. I appreciate your taking the time to convey your concerns to me and will keep them in mind when the Senate debates this issue.

So far, have been able to get through. Both my Senators are lost supporters of this bill (Boxer and Feinstein...what a surprise).

Anyone else in California, when you call, ask if the majority of the calls are for or against. I asked the aide and he said it was about even, but I don't buy that. I think most of the calls are against the Dream act.

There has been good point made with this posting. Even though you know a certain senator is a lost cause, call anyway. They need to see the overwheming support against their position.
