End of DACA Spurs Activist Fight To Stop Bridge Act Amnesty in Congress

(Raleigh, NC) ALIPAC activists who have played a key role in defeating Dream Act and Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty legislation in Washington, DC, since 2004 are deploying today to fight against the Bridge Act Amnesty (HR 496) sponsored by Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), Rep. Mike Coffman (R-CO), and 23 other members of Congress.

Rep. Coffman claims he has the votes to pass the Bridge Act and is trying to file a discharge petition to bring HR 496 to a floor vote in Congress today without the American public having time to understand or react to the legislation! (Source)

The Bridge Act would provide Amnesty, ID, and jobs to illegal aliens who don't want to return to their home nations with their illegal immigrant parents as current U.S. laws require once the Trump administration ends the Obama era unconstitutional and illegal memo orders known as DACA or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Amnesty. ALIPAC activists plan to warn Republican members of Congress that the organization will seek GOP primary challengers to run against any GOP lawmaker who sponsors, discharges, or votes for the Bridge Act (HR 496) just as they did in the successful effort to unseat Eric Cantor.

"The American public wants President Trump to honor his campaign promises made in his 2016 Phoenix, Arizona, immigration policy speech to end DACA immediately and begin enforcing existing US laws that require the repatriation of most illegals," declared William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "We do not want Congress to try to pass Bridge Act, Dream Act, or Comprehensive Amnesty to give illegal aliens special status and immunity from our laws. As U.S. citizens we insist that the results of our elections and Congressional votes of legislation be honored and our existing immigration and border laws be fully enforced without exception! The Bridge Act is another example of Washington, DC, representing the interests of illegal aliens and those who employ them over the interests of U.S. citizens who want illegals to go home as our current laws demand!"

In Trump's immigration policy speech made in Phoenix, AZ, on August 31, 2016, he promised to end DACA immediately, but he has broken that campaign promise for the last 9 months!

Trump also promised to fully enforce America's existing immigration laws and he has broken that promise as well by giving special protections and status to DACA / Dreamer illegal aliens and illegals who have not been detected committing further crimes in America which creates a de facto Amnesty for most illegal aliens in the US.

If the Trump administration leaves DACA in play for six months, knowingly continuing to violate our U.S. laws and Constitution, Trump will be breaking another campaign promise that Amnesty legislation debates would be avoided and "in several years when we have accomplished all of our enforcement and deportation goals...only then will we be in a position to consider the appropriate disposition of those individuals who remain." ALIPAC activists will begin calling their Representatives in Congress and the Republican sponsors of Bridge Act Amnesty ( HR 496) today to say, "We oppose the Bridge Act Amnesty for illegal aliens and want our Representatives to refuse Rep. Mike Coffman's discharge petition on the bill because the American public deserves more time on any Amnesty legislation for illegal aliens. Do not rush, discharge, or vote for the Bridge Act Amnesty which gives illegal aliens special treatment and immunity from our existing laws! I plan to encourage GOP primary challengers to run against any Republican in Congress that sponsors or supports Bridge Act AMNESTY!"
