It has occurred to me too, with suddenly so many newcomers, that some might have a different agenda.

I have thought about what the motivation would be for someone to join ALIPAC now, and try to pretend they are angry at Dobbs for the Telemundo interview. But 1. Even if only half are truly against illegal immigration, that is still a lot of new members!! 2. If some are trolls, they will not be able to keep up the facade for long, won't be able to fool ALIPACers for long. And its up to Dobbs if we will trust him again, it won't matter what some Trolls say. ALIPACers aren't that easily manipulated. Any Trolls will leave when they realize their tactics aren't working.

You need to respect the views of other people here at ALIPAC and pay close attention to the rules you signed to be able to post here. Your comments are coming very close to violating our rules.

The people around you here include many Americans of different backgrounds. Many of the people making posts about their personal reactions to what Lou Dobbs said in this video are some of the most dedicated and active citizen activists fighting against illegal immigration in America.

You do not have to agree with them, but you will respect them and their opinions if you plan to continue posting on ALIPAC's website.

Lou Dobbs's comments have greatly upset many people. In the minds of many legalizing illegal aliens is AMNESTY. Headlines at places like Newsmax read today "Lou Dobbs Supports Amnesty"

I am doing all I can to keep the peace till after the Holiday weekend but time is running out on Lou Dobbs.

Someone had better find a way to reach him at his Florida get retreat spot or to reach his "spokesman" that just hit us with this pro AMNESTY rhetoric as well or all hell is going to break lose and we will be unable to stop it.

The anger and angst you see here at ALIPAC is but a small spark compared to the outrage that will sweep this country next week turning Lou Dobbs into one of the most despised men in America over these comments.

If I knew how to reach Lou Dobbs to speak with him, warn him, and advise him, I would... but I don't know how to reach him.

I respect and value the comments of those here on the boards that stand with us in the fight against illegal immigration and they are my guiding voices.

I am not going to carry the torch for Lou Dobbs for very long at all over this outrage.

The things he said on Telemundo were outrageous and the best I am hoping for is that this is case of some very bad advice from some people Lou has made the MISTAKE of listening to.

Respectfully…I came here by e mail invitation asked to post my thoughts and I understand my guest status. My thoughts are that until any man is given a chance to clarify himself…it is just plain wrong to ASSUME what was meant by any statement. …It is more than wrong to miss quote him/her. And I see miss quote running rampant all over the country…twitter is a great place to see it (query Lou Dobbs there…shocking.) My concern is not for myself or ALIPACK…it is for Mr. Lou Dobbs. Sadly I too am use to not being understood and am sure I will…yet again…get a negative response to my post. From the sound of it this may be my last here.

The question Lou raised of legalizing was simply that…a question of what to do and he asked for help…over and over. I think if given a chance that he would have pointed out the absurdity of legalizing illegal’s. It is an oxymoron and that there ARE legal venues already. Obviously something must be done to solidify solidarity. I think Lou is a human just like all of us…he is not an infallible God. His slant and angle is far from understood at this point. No one at this time has an answer. In all reality it will take the courts…once again to answer this question…in my opinion…it is not for Lou to define.

For me it is a question of Constitutional law…once again. I see nearly every problem in this country stemming from the neglect or out right ignoring of Constitutional law. If it were properly and legally applied, most problems in this country would evaporate.

Coming here illegally is not acceptable and politicians representing foreign nationals and offering them amnesty is even worse than illegal immigration.

I watched this--partially. Couldn't take the whole thing. I kept saying, "is that really Lou Dobbs?" I withdraw my support for his political ambitions.

You're not the only one with those thoughts. I too couldn't watch it in it's entirety. It was far too demeaning of Lou and if he is only going to posture now, well, I can't support that.
