Friends of ALIPAC:

The Battle for NC is raging although we do not know if we will get a bill finalized or not. This battle affects us all because NC Licenses and license plates are headed out to other states by the thousands. The chances are high that the next group of terrorists that attack our country will be using NC Licenses since the 9/11 license states have cracked down already.

We had a great rally and lobby event Wed. July 5. We received a great deal of press coverage and about 8 lawmakers talked about their bills. Here is the Associated Press article and pictures of the rally.

WE NEED IMMEDIATE ACTION FROM ALL ALIPAC VOLUNTEERS

On Monday, Tuesday, and Wed. of this week please call and e-mail each of the politicians listed below. These are the leaders of the NC House Rules Committee. It is up to them if these bills live or die. We have more things planned on the ground here and your e-mails and especially calls are needed for this action to have a chance of working.

This past week, your calls were coming into offices as our volunteers went door to door in the NC Legislature. This combination of efforts had a great effect.

Please focus all calls and e-mails for a three day effort on the offices listed below.

The messages are:

"Please do not leave Raleigh without addressing our illegal immigration crisis."

"I'm tired of illegal aliens driving in my state with fake NC Licenses and plates."

"How many more North Carolinians will have to die before NC lawmakers take action?"

"Why is NC giving benefits to illegal aliens and taking NO actions to control illegal immigration?"

"Why is your committee, the rules committee not addressing House Bills 2692, 2809, 2808, 2654, 2560, or 1474?"

"Will the Democrat leadership leave Raleigh without even discussing any of these bills that crack down on illegal immigration?"

"Why can't NC join Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, Colorado, Arizona, and many other states that are taking action?"

Dear Representative ________________ :

As a leader in the House Rules Committee, you have the responsibility to discuss laws addressing North Carolina's illegal immigration crisis. While the majority of bills sent to your committee are sent there to die, there is another kind of death that will result from your inaction if you do not debate and pass some or all of the following bills. North Carolinian's are being killed, maimed, and injured by illegal aliens that have NO respect for our laws. Many of these deaths and injuries are preventable if NC will join the many other states that have empowered their local police, cut off taxpayer welfare, and secured their licenses and voter registration.

The House Bills listed below have been sent to your committee and there is talk that the Democrat leadership plans to leave town without addressing this crisis. This will be the equivalent of the Mississippi Legislature leaving session without addressing the impact of Katrina. Please do not underestimate the political backlash from the public if no action is taken on these bills.

Before you have another chance to consider these bills, there will be a minimum of 100,000 more illegal aliens in NC to add to the 500,000 we already have.

North Carolina remains the state with the fastest growing illegal alien population. It is not because the illegals like the weather here. They are here because YOU are allowing them to have driver licenses, register to vote, and receive taxpayer benefits.

On behalf of the thousands of North Carolinians that are suffering through the loss of loved ones, lost jobs, diminished wages, increased gang activity, outbreaks of Tuberculosis and hepatitis, and skyrocketing tax burdens, we petition you to take action now to pass these bills and address our illegal immigration crisis.
