[Watch] Rep Goodlatte – More Flip Flops Than Wal-Mart, Gives Up Pro-Amnesty Position

[Watch] Rep Goodlatte – More Flip Flops Than Wal-Mart, Gives Up Pro-Amnesty Position, For Now

Posted on 8 July, 2014 by Rick Wells

He’s “bravely” staked out a position, for now. Since the amnesty push has been killed for the short term by Obama’s western border stampede, it’s time for some prudent repositioning.
Rep Bob Goodlatte, who has at different times occupied both sides of the amnesty issue, has now staked out a position in favor of border security. The ever malleable Goodlatte recognizes that for the time being, the interests of the Chamber of Commerce will have to take a back seat to the theater of appearing to represent the American citizens.
Only six months ago, Goodlatte was carrying John Boehner’s amnesty water and being interviewed by Telemundo. Things are different now, and although he’s putting on a more citizen-friendly façade, we know the parasitic infestation has severely damaged the integrity of the structure. He’s got termites.
The Chamber of Commerce hasn’t lost their interest in the destruction of the middle class and the importation of a different, low-cost labor pool. They’re just letting things cool off and allowing Goodlatte to bolster his image.
He follows the same “they all came because Obama told them they could stay” story line. Goodlatte was Obama’s amnesty ally until Eric Cantor was defeated. That surprise, as well as the current border mess has forced a sudden reincarnation upon the congressman. He’s now become the spokesperson for border security and immigration enforcement.

He says we should patrol the southern Mexico border, but why don’t we just enforce our own. Send the illegals back and the problem will go away. The reason Goodlatte won’t support that is because he, just like his Chamber of Commerce masters and Obama want our southern border open.
Moving the security focus to Central America enables the regime to “do something” to solve the problem while actually leaving our border wide open. Our enforcement is out of sight and anything can be claimed, including irrelevant and untrue success stories.
The issue is the American border with Mexico. We are capable and have in the past secured that border. The only thing lacking in doing it today is a lawful executive branch, faithfully enforcing the immigration laws of our nation, and a desire to succeed.
Turn our Border Agents loose, they’ll get the job done.

Perhaps the crisis has caused him to reconsider or he has realized that thousands of kids won't help him in the very next election so better to stick with his constituents who put him in office.

I have found that a good political policy for me is to never trust a flip-flopper. The reason for flip-flopping is to get re-elected, no solid reasoning involved finding the best result for America! Throw him to the curb, next year his mind will be re-adjusted.

Not a great verbal presentation on the clip by Goodlatte. A lot of nervousness, hasty, lack of conviction verbally. I listen to those things, I taught hundreds over 40 years to do presentations, he forgot the very basics.

In business, I was told that when you found the competition to be criticizing your service/product, you had the competition against the ropes. Both parties have been doing that to each other because they do NOT have a clue what the public wants to buy!!
