Donald Trump has a very high level of morality. He's honest, his word is his bond, he doesn't drink, smoke, or use drugs. Yes, he's had some marital issues, but those go both ways from 2 sides, and he didn't screw over creditors. These were big money guys who earned far more in interest than what Trump owed them in principal which is why they wrote down the loans and restructured the debt. That's just good business. Trump didn't fold up the businesses, he restructured the debt under Chapter 11 Reorganization. Chapter 7 is when you fold up, walk away and leave everyone with a loss. Trump never did that. That's why he refutes the "bankruptcy" claims, because he never filed Chapter 7 to my knowledge, all four out of 100's of deals, were Chapter 11, Reorganization which is just restructuring the debt, lower interest rates, some mark downs and resetting the loans so the businesses can move forward again and the lenders can still earn money from the deals, just not as much as they originally hoped they would.
