10 Things Every American Should Know

    Friends,

I am designing an email forward campaign. You know.. like the little cute emails you get all the time or the ones that say forward this to 10 people within the hour for good luck etc...

This one will read "Would you forward an email to help save America?"

We need a top ten things that we would like every American to know that the traditional media is not making clear to them.

In one or two sentences, what do you think should be on the list.

    Things like

#1 In the last 5 years under Bush, most immigration enforcement has ceased. The Border Patrol has been ordered to only catch and release illegal aliens they intercept and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE formerly INS) has been ordered to issue no fines against employers that hire illegal aliens. This has resulted in the most massive wave of illegal immigration in America's history with Time magazine estimating new illegal crossings at 3 million per year or 6-10,000 per night!

Please help me brainstorm by providing some things you think should be in the top 10.

I think that list should include the statistic that of the available labor-for-hire at a day labor site, studies have shown that 90-95%, on average, of the laborers at these sites are in this country illegally. Yet, the local police and ICE do nothing to apprehend these people, even though they are right there for the picking, and local and state taxpayer money is helping them to find employment...all in violation of federal laws...it is all about local and state taxes actually aiding and abetting those in the country illegally.

Also, the high number of incursions onto U.S. soil by the Mexican military will be sure to open peoples' eyes, who know little or nothing about the issue. These incursions are often believed to assist drug traffickers entering our nation.

    1. I think one important fact would be the number of ICE agents available to do the massive job.

    2. Certainly, people need to be made aware of the anchor baby provision.

    3. It would be WONDERFUL if we could get a dollar figure for what is spent just to make EVERYTHING AVAILABLE in SPANISH.

    4. OF COURSE, the fact that almost NO EMPLOYERS have been FINED for hiring illegals since Bush took office.

    5. The fact that these illegals are able to get FEDERALLY-BACKED MORTGAGES.

    6. Statistics on how many illegals are in the prison system.

    7. It would be wonderful if we had figures on the number of crimes committed by illegals in any given year.

    8. That the amount of money that Mexicans sent back to Mexico last year was Mexico's HIGHEST SOURCE OF INCOME.

    9. How many hospitals have had to shut down.

    10. That our representatives are not HEARING the people but are pandering to big business by supporting guestworker program.

    11. That the Mexican government AIDS and ABETS this breaking of OUR laws by providing them GUIDELINES for making that border cross safely, setting up consulates all over the country to provide marticula consular cards. Complete disregard for OUR SOVEREIGNTY.

    12. The HUGE impact on the educational system in our country because of these illegals requiring MUCH MORE INTENSE, one-on-one attention because they can't speak our language.

    13. Crime statistics.

    14. Number of Border Patrol agents and the sheer impossibility of their being able to adequately protect the border.

    15. The possibility of a terrorist waltzing in just like the other illegals.

    16. The drug problem.

    17. The population EXPLOSION due to several factors including the desire to have an anchor baby and the fact that, as poorly-educated Catholics, they don't believe in birth control. Then, the trickle-down problem of those anchor babies who are CITIZENS will be able to bring the whole damn family in!

    18. The inherent drain on the welfare system because of the above problem.

    19. The LIE that these illegals are taking jobs that "AMERICANS WON'T TAKE".

    20. AND, our PRESIDUNCE has called the Minutemen, "VIGILANTES"!

I can see now that the problem is going to be narrowing it DOWN to TEN THINGS!!!

Impeach Bush......................Make everyone aware of how the Media is a frontline defence for bush and not to believe anything they say.Ask the Media why they don`t ask bush questions about the Americans on the boarder with Mexico and how these Americans lives are being ruined because Bush is igonring them and in the same breath bush stands in front of The Cameras and tells Americans how much he,bush, loves America and the American people. How much can America stand?

    1. First and foremost: Please make sure that we get the point across that this discussion, this problem, is about ILLEGAL ALIENS. The media (and many politicians), who should know better, seems often to have a problem distinguising between immigrants (who come by an honorable, legal process) and illegal aliens. The term "illegal immigrant" should never even be used, immigrants are immigrants, illegal aliens are not immigrants - they are criminals.

    2. Healthcare costs - its a huge issue in America, and I doubt that the media, the politicians, and most American realize what the impact of illegals is on healthcare costs (and the financial failure of so many hospitals in border states).

    3. Impacts on public education. Too many resources are being diverted from basic education of American students to teach bilingual, multilingual, and multicultural classes. Mexican consulates file lawsuits to force local school districts to teach latin culture classes. I doubt that many of our public schools even teach American culture (US History, US Government, US Geography anymore, since most high school students seem to know so little about these things nowadays). And if we are diverting our educational resources to the "Mexicanizing" of America instead of math and science, is it any wonder that American businesses complain that our students don't have the right skills to do high tech work, thus giving them an excuse to import a workforce from India, China, etc.

    4. It is so obvious that the main stream media, and in many cases local police, will not report illegal alien status of criminals and suspects. We need to do the best we can to get these statistics out.

    5. Drugs. Local law enforcement agencies all over the country, in cooperation with the DEA, worked their butts off for several years to shut down meth labs, spending how many millions of federal, state, and local taxpayer dollars? Now Bush leaves the border open and that same drug pours into the country, with the profits no doubt being used at least partially to finance terrorist operations.

    6. Obviously, the national security risk of an inadequately protected border. I can remember a news story about a year ago, I think Lou Dobbs reported this, where Tricky Dick (Cheney) was pontificating about the illegal alien problem. His comment that we (federal government) had no real idea of how many illegals were here, who they were, or what their intentions were (looking for work, looking for kids to molest, planing a biological or nuclear attack, whatever). Anyway, when he was asked what he would propose as a solution, he said we should institute a guest-worker program..........huh?? I don't understand what tortured reasoning would lead him to propose that as a solution, but we could easily come up with a few dozen stupid remarks from Bush, Chertoff and Cheney to make our points that Americans should be aware of. Just 10, though.
But if the Administratoin does not know the intentions of all these people, possibly terrorists among them, why is the border wide open? Our NationalGuard belongs on the border, not in Iraq. Bush obviously cares more about Iraq's security than America's.

    7. Racism IS a part of this discussion. "Por La Raza, Todo. Fuero del la Raza, Nada." (For the Race, everything. For those outside the Race, nothing). It is the attitude of the Mexican government, Mexican Consulates, most of these illegal aliens, the illegal alien front groups in the US (Council of LaRaza, LULAC, etc). They are the racists, not those who are asking, and demanding, of the American government that it enforce the law and uphold the US Constitution. But this government leaves the gate wide open for mostly Mexican and other Latino aliens to come as they wish, while at the same time the prospective legal immigrant from India, Poland, China, Russia, Philippines, Ukraine, Korea, and a hundred other countries is expected to follow the law. Not only are the Mexicans racist, so too is the current immigration policy (as Bush administers it) discriminatory and racist. It is the implementation of policy that fails, not the law itself, because Bush, and many in Congress also, do not respect the rule of law.

    8. The injustice of current immigration policy. Legal Immigrants work hard to meet the standards, waiting for years to win the chance to come here. Bush allows illegals to come here, to work, to receive benefits, and proposes to give them legal status ahead of the people who have the honor to follow the rules.

    9. Erosion of wages through cheap imported labor, underground economy, loss of tax revenues. And which groups does this erosion of wages most directly affect? Usually low income Blacks and Latinos (citizens and legal immigrants). Especially the flood of illegals into the hurricane disaster areas last year, displacing already victimized low income Blacks and other citizens.

    10. Interference of Mexican Consulates in the internal affairs of the United States, lack of respect for our laws and legislative processes on the part of Presidente Fox, and the Bush Administration's pathetic response. Bush is far more likely to criticize his own citizens (vigilantes) than to say anything that would offend Fox.

Things to know are good...then ask them 10 things to do for America.

    One suggestion as an example:

Contact your US Senators and ask them to support H.R. 4437.

I think THIS would be a GREAT idea, legal4mykidsfuture! THAT should be easy enough to do and it could even be entertaining as well as serious which would make it more likely that people would read it. We'll have to put our thinking caps on and come up with some real doozies like the one that you mentioned Cheney saying but I think this could be done!!

I think that everyone should be informed about the threats to the safety of our Border Patrol, the condition of their vehicles and vests and other equipment....

A truer number of illegals---30 to 35 million--should be exposed as well as a truer number of Americans unemployed.

The 'wars' on school campuses that the children face on a daily basis.

The true cost of keeping the illegals here.

The numbers of hospitals that have had to close.

The Reconquista Plan should be common knowledge.

Our elected officials pandering for the vote of illegals.

The number of Americans killed and maimed by illegals every year for the last ten years.
