The Orlando Tea Party was a HUGE success. Thank you Orlando!

The city estimated it at 5000-6000 and the police on site wholeheartedly agreed.

We are so very happy that so many people decided enough is enough and took the time to come out and be heard today. We are so grateful to you all.

Please check our web site for updates on our next Tea Partly (we are considering later in the year.)The crowd was fantastic! There were so much passion in the crowd, we were so touched. And we really enjoyed meeting so many of you.

Wow!! And this is the movement in its early stages.... What has it been? A month? Six weeks at most.

I would like to see one in Miami Dade or Broward County.

I know these groups are against wasteful government stimulus spending, but what about illegal immigration? Wonder if anyone spoke out against that.

April 4 there will be a tea party in Charlotte NC, which I plan to attend, and emailed the sponsor, Americans for Prosperity with a few simple questions: Do I need tea bags or will loose tea work? Where do I park and who are the speakers? No answer yet. I will go take pics but since I still operate with film I will have to have it developed before being able to post. Will take my notebook and see what everyone is saying and report back here.

Great turn out and I was wondering the same thing. If Illegal aliens came into the conversations? Post this again here for reminder: Have not heard anything on the one in Raleigh today.

Populist - I strongly believe the large majority of people at these Tea Parties, and the ones joining groups such Glenn Beck's We Surround Them 9-12 organization, etc, are also against illegal immigration.

I think these types of protests and groups will benefit our anti-illegal invasion movement also in time. But that is likely to take a little more time, and be a little more difficult.

Most of these people have probably not engaged in public protests like this before. Obviously anger and courage is increasing, so a lot of people are now willing to protest against taxes, socialism, etc. But I think they are still more hesitant to publicly protest the illegal invasion in these early stages, because of the left and pro-amnesty crowds success in tying it to civil rights and racism.

I really believe this is just the beginning, and these types of events will benefit us eventually. It is waking people up, making them angry, increasing their courage and willingness to fight and protest, and publicly voice their opinions, and will likely end up affecting whom they vote for in the future.
