Adios Rudy, Welcome Fred!
By John W. Lillpop
With his latest pronouncement, which holds that illegal immigration is not and should not be a crime, Rudy Giuliani has confirmed his reputation as a big city liberal, too far to the left of Hillary Clinton to be a Democrat, and too much like George W. Bush to be a Republican.
Most distressing is that Giuliani lacks any righteous indignation over the fact that 12-30 million third world illegal aliens have invaded and now occupy large swaths of America.
Giuliani 's "solution," as told Glenn Beck, is to secure the borders.
While that is absolutely the number priority, Giuliani has no plan for dealing with illegal aliens already here, except to grant the invaders amnesty and citizenship.
But why even bother securing the borders if the government policy is to do nothing about evil doers here unlawfully?
Glenn Beck: http://www.glennbeck.com/news/09072007.shtml
While Giuliani was doing the Mexican Hat Dance to pander to the illegal alien community, Fred Thompson was standing up for American sovereignty and rule of law.
Said presidential candidate Thompson, ""If we catch illegal immigrants who are here, they need to be deported," Thompson said. "If they want to get back in the right way, get in line with everybody else."
ABC News: http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar ... eport.html
Compared to Giuliani's double talking drivel, Thompson's words are sweet music indeed.
However, Thompson needs to beef up his portfolio on this issue by proposing a top-priority law enforcement effort to seek out and deport illegal aliens, rather than waiting to catch the third world scoundrels as they engage in other crimes.
Adios Rudy, Welcome Fred!

and how about Ron Paul...and Tom Trancredo.....also on our side

Thompson spoken words don't exactly match his past history on the issue of illegal immigration. Fred's just dancing for the conservative vote."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

My husband was just talking to his brother who lives around Denver. It is a nightmare and he's a major Tancredo fan. When I talk to people.....there are very few who are behind what they tell us are the front runners. Ya....there's those who say oh ya Hillary coz she's a woman....or why not Obama...give a black a chance......but people that are really thinking this through and doing research.....aren't on those wagons. Straw polls show that. Once again I fear we may be in the situation where majority doesn't rule but electorial votes do. Where are most of the sanctuary cities located? In states with the most electorial votes. Where is the most problems with voter fraud? Those cities. Ya....they find it.....sometimes....when it's too late. I just think of here. MAJOR false document ring.....crooked as the day is long.....but...major vote holder.
I'd rather cast a paper ballot than what they want us to do now. I'd rather walk around with a purple finger and know my vote matters.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Yes, Giuiliani says that he will "secure the border, end illegal immigration (yeah right), and give amnesty to 20+ million illegal immigrants." In other words, same old, same old. As soon as the illegals got their amnesty, or were on their "pathway," any enforcement measures would get ignored or litigated into oblivion by the OBL. I'm (we're) so sick of this.
So, while I emphasize that I have big questions about Romney (and still support Tancredo), at least Romney has publicly said of late that the way to deal with the illegals who are here is by a strategy of attrition through enforcement. And at this point, of the MSM-annointed GOP presidential frontrunners (Guiliani, Thompson, Romney), Romney appears to be the best, at least rhetorically, on the illegal alien crisis.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Unfortunately, while I like Tancredo and Ron Paul, and Duncan Hunter, I think Mike Huckabee is more popular and stands a better shot at the nomination than either of them.
Huckabee did very well in the New Hampshire (placed second) and he DOES NOT SUPPORT BIG BUSINESS, ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION OR OPEN BORDERS is very conservative and a former minister. It's Time to Rescind the 14th Amendment

I also like Duncan Hunter as well as Huckabee. But from what I hear from the young voters.....who can complain about Romney? He is a cutie. Presedintial "looks" and all the rest. Being sarcastic here. Isn't that almost the same reson JFK got in? Youth to the future vs age and wisdom.
I do look at how I would vote for these people at different ages. If I was in school......hands down Romney. Young family...this one...elderly...this one.
Sorry.....feeling a tad left out being old and useless and hoping someone sees our worth.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Fred may be just saying he is against illegals. He has stated that we need reform and that we cannot deport 20 million illegals. He says he is against amnesty but yet says that the 20 million should have a path to citizenship after those in line. While I like Fred and believe that he has a good chance, I am worried that he is misleading people about his views on illegals.
