Call Sheldon Silver, Assembly Speaker. He is attempting to block the Senate bill passed last night (S. 6484) that prevents Spitzer's plan to give licenses to illegal aliens from coming into the Assembly.

I've started my calls and emails early this morning. I am concentrating mostly on the Dream Act, and then Spitzers lisence crap. To make things seem less monotonous, I am making 10 phone calls, 10 emails, 10 phone calls, 10 emails....and so on.

The word is that the NY Senate's bill passed yesterday
(s. 6484) blocking Spitzer's plan to give illegal aliens driver's licenses will come to the Assembly floor sometime today.

Just called both Spitzer offices. Manhattan office very rude. Albany staffer said that they have been swamped with calls. Gave her the opposition using your points Zeezil. She said the the HR bill was introduced by Fields.
