Thread: All States should start doing this

Since the AG and the Supreme Court have now ratified that Border protection is a Federal Responsibility then All states should start BILLING them for the costs that Illegal Aliens have created in each state in the country! Lets start a new trend! If the Feds say they OWN it, then lets make them pay for that ownership!

Indiana's budget director calculates illegal immigrants have cost Indiana $130.9 million.

Budget Director Adam Horst sent Congress a bill for the amount Friday as required under Indiana's illegal immigration law passed last year by the General Assembly.

Congress is not expected to act on the request, however.

Indiana's law was modeled on the 2010 Arizona illegal immigration bill whose key provisions were struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday. Indiana's law also is being challenged in court.

Horst estimated $110.6 million of the state's illegal immigrant costs have been for K-12 education. He estimated prison costs at $12.3 million and welfare costs at nearly $8 million.

Then pass a Bill that Mandates that they pay. Or bring suit agains the Feds by the states! A united effort by states could be a big win! Remember, it is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! ALL THE TIME....

From the other post here I personally know Tim D. from our border group in CA, if states got to gether and did this PUBLICALLY as an embarrassment to the administration, that htey have broken another promise.

Then SUE the Federal Government!

Not only can states sue the Federal government, if enough of them agree (3 the states could abolish the Federal government and create a new government to replace it.

The Federal government can exist only with the "consent" of the states.

That consent was given through the Constitution by ratification of the Constitution by the states and that consent can be taken away by amendment to the Constitution by the states who have full authority over the Charter and the states can amend it without consent from the Federal government.

We all know that the government spends way way to much for anything it wants, cut some of the waste in programs, Cut down the EPA, the IRS, and a bunch of the Foriegn Aid just to start them pay the states. Giving in is NOT an option. Throwing up our arms and saying it can't be done is not an option. If the will of the people want it enough we can elect those who feel the same and make a change.

We should be careful with this one. If we can force the feds to pay for illegal immigrants and the problems they cost the states, then states might be able to force the government to pay for illegals as aid for illegals too. States should be able to expect the feds to help them with the cost of illegal immigration but only if the states can prove they are enforcing the law against illegal immigrants and especially if the states themselves can show laws against illegal immigration.

BUT as we all learned this week, it is the Feds responsibility to enforce the Laws of Immigration; hence the FEDS are responsible to protect US Citizens Equally and all. Thus the federal governmenth as openly NOW said that they OWN it, and if they OWN it they have to pay forit. If the states were to own the protection of its borders they would have State Troopers, or a State Police or Guard to protect its sovereign borders from any country, But they don't and CAN'T the feds say so. You cannot have it both ways, and the FEDS said that this week. Immigration is a FEDERAL issue,and thus they OWN it lock stock and Caboose! And actually I am glad; this relieves the states and imposes a clear and precise area of enforcement. Now to force the Feds into doing it is the biggest problem I see. But again if the FEDS are publically SHAMED by the STATES collectively and by the citizens collectively it could make a difference.

I see that the Feds now have made it clear they OWN Immigration enforcement Period!

So, again if you OWN it you FUND IT!
