I have never voted on American Idol. After investigating the reactions last night I learned, they get their fan clubs going and start pushing for their particular favorite. They call in over and over to get the votes high for their favorite. So she is playing to all Latinos to call over and over for her. She can't win on talent, so she is going to play to her base.

A lot of them bring their sob stories, not just ethnic, to get the votes. As they said her gimick is her race. There are a lot of good singers, but I am partial to Scotty. No sob story, no gimick, just a 17 year old country boy with a beautiful voice. Everyone loves him, but they don't think he will win because he sings country. But come on, how American is country. Well I guess I will start voting - you can now do it through the internet. ALIPAC has taught me well how to man the phones and internet.
