Not sure, but seem to recall there is a way to have a national referendum on something like this, but takes a serious petition drive in every state to get it on the ballot nationally. Wonder if she would spear head it?

It still requires enforcement which is the Executive Branch under the President.

We have plenty of laws already.

The problem is not lack of laws. The problem is lack of a leader committed to enforcing our laws and protecting our nation and people.

The problem is a President who cares more for illegal aliens than American Citizens.

The problem is a President with a Globalism Plan.

The problem is a President who wants to end the United States and disempower the American People.

    Isn't it?

You could be right Judy, but a properly written referendum would leave the government with no choice...we simply create a referendum that provides the funding and enforcement as a part of it.

Just did some research....seems that the United States is one of the few Democratic nations in the world that does not allow a National Referendum, and only 24 states allow referendums.

******United States: There is no provision for the holding of referendums at the federal level in the United States. However the constitutions of 24 states and many local and city governments provide for referendums and citizen's initiatives. The most famous U.S. state initiative is probably California's Proposition 13 which severely limited property tax increases. They are especially popular in modifying state constitutions. *******

This still could work to our favor....referendums are NOT CHEAP, and if we could collect enough signatures in the states that DO ALLOW a referendum, then we could snow ball a movement...what if 24 states passed laws forbidding illegals from living there, working there, or collecting any kind of social services...that would force the issue at a National level.

Well, the last referendum of sorts that I recall was for the Equal Rights Amendment and they needed it passed by x number of states and fell short...this was for women.

So I think x number of states have to put it on their ballot and pass it and then when x number have, then it becomes an Amendment to the Constitution and the Law of the Land.

It would be more expedient to just impeach the people laying down on our laws. Any Executive Branch can interpret the 14th Amendment any manner they want to and then force the issue back up to the US Supreme Court for a decision....based upon current "wind" on the topic.

Not sure how this court would decide it and that could be BADLY.

I'm fairly certain both new appointees are Globalists.

She brought up some real good points on Fox with Orielly, he seems a little soft on the issue. Which sickens me. According to him, its too tuff to round the illegals up and send them back so don't do it. So if it seems like alot of work just let it go? I think not Mr Bill, he just lost a fan, and probably many more. Thats the attitude that got us where we are now....laziness.
