Spctor on Lou Dobbs, coming up now, defending his green card amnesty.

    (Edit
    In summary:
Dobbs:Why the urgency to resurrect an immigration bill?
Spector:Because it's very important to fix broken borders. blah blah yadda yadda.
Dobbs: We've been watching the polls...the borders are not secure and there's great mistrust among Americans that you'll get the job done.
Spector: That mistrust is well founded, but we have the money now to implement security at the border
Dobbs: Do you think congress is ready for another immigration battle?
Spector: No I don't. Not right now. I'm just floating an idea to remove the fugitive status, this is not a bill, this is not amnesty, this is simply an idea to consider after the borders are secured. (Again..)This is just an idea to remove fugitive status and get them to hold a job and pay taxes.
Dobbs: We already have 9 guest worker programs and we don't need more. The American people don't want more!
Spector: We're open for ideas and suggestions.
Dobbs: I'm sure you'll hear from the American people on this.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION= Breeding the American out of existence.

Well, the borders are far from secure, and if you change their status to legal, this would be amnesty no matter how much he tries to redefine this. U.S. citizens would not accept this plan, just as they did not accept the last amnesty plan that he and his cohorts schemed up in private and then tried to ram through in extraordinary fashion.

BTW, make sure Specter and other senators keep hearing NO on this latest amnesty plan! Keep calling, please.

Lou was too easy on him. We let Specter know we didn't want amnesty, but maybe now we need to let him know we want the illegals to go home. Giving these criminals green cards is the same as amnesty because they still get to stay here. Somehow he just doesn't get it. And I thought Lou knew we don't want all these illegals to stay here and I kept waiting for him to say something, but he didn't. Taking them out of the fugitive status is just not going to cut it.

In re: that vote stealing travesty in the House last week. That was out and out vote tampering, as we all know--is there any sort of recourse or chance of an investigation? It absolutely boggles the mind--flagrant cheating without any consequences. The demopoops even had the temerity to erase the original (winning) vote from the record.

    Arrgghh.

    Arrgghh.

They will probably refer it to the ethics committee where it will die a natural death.
