    Dear XXXXXXX,

The political establishment in BOTH parties in Washington, D.C. is doubling down, and the stench from their smoky backroom deals is getting stronger every day.

Earlier this year, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke announced a program of PERMANENT "Quantitative Easing" - a move virtually sure to help finish off the U.S. Dollar.

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner wants the President to be able to raise our nation's debt ceiling at will.

Now - desperate to avoid the so-called "fiscal cliff" - House Speaker John Boehner has already laid out an offer to President Obama to hike takes by a whopping $800 BILLION.

And just days ago, Speaker Boehner and the House GOP establishment stripped some of the strongest pro-limited government Members of the House - including Representative Justin Amash - of their Committee positions.

Representatives Amash and Huelskamp were removed from the Budget Committee, which happens to be chaired by Paul Ryan.

One has to be curious if we're witnessing a little payback, since both representatives opposed the Ryan budget.

Both men realize we have to address spending problems now - not wait decades to balance the budget.

What were the reasons given for Boehner's "purge"?

Not voting with Republican leadership enough. In other words, being "too principled" and actually believing in the talking points GOP candidates do their best to mouth on the campaign trail.

    The message is clear.

Speaker Boehner is determined to cut a deal with President Obama to hike taxes and keep spending skyrocketing.

And rank-and-file House Republicans better get in line. Or else.

    Forget demanding spending cuts.

Forget drawing a line in the sand and saying "NO" to economically destructive new taxes.

Our nation is over $16.3 TRILLION in debt, but that has nothing to do with wasteful politicians.

It's the fault of "selfish" people like you who don't hand over every red cent to Big Government bureaucrats in their mad rush to destroy every last memory of free markets in our country.

That's what the statists want you to believe.

Michael, only to a politician could people who want to keep the fruits of their labor be considered "greedy," while those who would effectively STEAL those fruits be considered bighearted.

This fight is just beginning, of course.

But as you and I get closer to the holidays, it gets ever more dangerous.

Politicians think you and I aren't paying attention.

And the statists can hardly contain their excitement at RAMMING through a massive deal with President Obama to hike our taxes and earn praise from Big Government mouthpieces like the New York Times.

In fact, just thinking about it puts tears in Speaker Boehner's eyes.

That's why you and I are going to have to be more vigilant than ever.

I'll keep you updated on new developments in this fight over the next few weeks.

There will be many. And this fight will move fast.

Please be ready to take action. Grassroots citizens like you can derail the establishment's schemes.

But only if we're ready to show Washington, D.C. we mean business.

You can start today by calling John Boehner's office at (202) 225-6205 to demand he reinstate the members he "purged" to their committees.

    In Liberty,

    John Tate
    President

P.S. Speaker John Boehner just announced his $800 billion tax hike plan and removed some of the most pro-limited government representatives from key legislative positions in a threat to ensure House Members follow his lead to hike taxes.

Group looking to oust Boehner targets members with ‘little to lose’

    12/07/2012
    Alexis Levinson
    Political Reporter/Daily Caller

A conservative group that wants to depose Speaker of the House John Boehner from his post as the leader of the Republican Party in the House is targeting more junior members of the House who have “little to lose” in the way of committee chairmanships, and asking them not to vote for him in January.

The group, American Majority Action, has said Boehner is not conservative enough, and that the removal of several conservative members from their respective committees earlier this week was the final straw.

Boehner has said it was an issue of loyalty, but conservatives have labeled the removal a purge, saying that those members were removed because they were too conservative.

AMA says Boehner can be removed from his post if 16 Republicans do not vote for him to be House speaker in January, leaving him one vote shy of the number necessary to be re-elected as speaker.

The list of 150 members that the group is targeting is comprised of incoming freshmen, congressmen from the class of 2010 and Republican Study Committee members. AMA is asking activists to write letters or emails asking them to abstain from voting in the speaker election in January.

Some RSC members are noticeably missing from the list, like former RSC Chair Jeb Hensarling and Rep. Paul Ryan.

Ryan is a member of the House leadership and chairs the Budget Committee. Hensarling is the incoming chairman of the Financial Services Committee. They would be in danger of losing their chairmanships, if they were to buck leadership in such a flagrant way, and would therefore be unlikely to do so.

Ron Meyer, spokesmen for AMA, explained: “We don’t want activists to waste time on members who have too much skin in the game.”

The more “junior members” on the list, he said, “have less to lose.”

He acknowledged that those members could still lose committee assignments, as Reps. David Schweikert, Tim Huelskamp, Justin Amash and Walter Jones learned earlier this week. “Hence why they haven’t opposed him in the caucus,” Meyer said.

“The point is, none of them are close to becoming chairs,” Meyer explained. “Most RSC members are also on the list. It’s supposedly the conservative caucus, so its member shouldn’t support tax hikes or purging conservatives.”

Meyer said that “Conservatives should have the freedom to pick their own leaders.” He called the current system flawed, describing it as “seniority-based” and “threats-based.”

RYAN STONEWALLS ON INVOLVEMENT WITH BOEHNER PURGE

    by MATTHEW BOYLE 7 Dec 2012, 12:14

As House Speaker John Boehner continues to hide the details of what happened and why during his conservative purge of House committees, House Budget Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan is eschewing comment and instead directing all inquiries about the purge to Boehner’s office.

On Monday, Boehner and House GOP leadership removed four conservative Republicans from influential fiscally focused committees. Reps. Justin Amash of Michigan and Tim Huelskamp of Kansas were pulled from the House Budget Committee and Reps. David Schweikert of Arizona and Walter Jones of North Carolina were removed from the House Financial Services Committee. Huelskamp was also purged from the House Agriculture Committee.

For several days, spokespeople for Ryan – the Republican Party’s most recent vice presidential candidate who’s widely rumored to be positioning himself to run for president in 2016 – have refused to answer any questions about whether Ryan was involved and, if he was, what role he played.

Then, on Friday, Ryan spokesman William Allison would not deny Ryan’s involvement in the purge. “We are going to defer you to the Speaker’s office and the Steering Committee,” Allison told Breitbart News when asked if Ryan was involved and supported Boehner's move.

A spokesman for Boehner didn’t return a request for comment when asked if Ryan was involved.

An anonymous GOP leadership aide originally tried to pin some blame on the committee chairmen involved – incoming House Financial Services Committee chairman Rep. Jeb Hensarling and Ryan.

“Changes are made for a variety of reasons, most often at the request of committee chairs,” the anonymous GOP leadership aide told Roll Call.

Breitbart News first reported on Wednesday that Hensarling said he had nothing to do with the decision. Jones, one of the conservative members Boehner purged from Hensarling’s committee, later said Hensarling told him “I’m offended” by Boehner’s move.

Boehner representatives have also tried to blame the House GOP Steering Committee for the decision. “The Steering Committee makes decisions based on a range of factors,” Boehner spokesmen Michael Steel and Kevin Smith say when asked any questions about the purge. They refuse to discuss details on the record.

Both Ryan and Hensarling are also members of the House GOP Steering Committee.

A spokeswoman for House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has refused to discuss the purge – and her boss’s role in it – on the record with Breitbart News. A spokesman for Cantor has similarly refused to discuss his role in the process on the record.

Leadership also refuses to release the secret list of criteria -- which reportedly includes a vote scorecard -- that was used to conduct the purge.

Any involvement by Ryan in the Boehner purge could hurt a 2016 presidential bid he’s rumored to be gearing up for. Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul said Thursday that the actions of the people involved here will hurt any of them if they try to run for president. “I don’t know if any of these people want to run for president — maybe they’re going to have to explain why they wanted to purge people from their committees who believe in balancing the budget,” Paul said in a radio interview.

This week, Ryan signed onto Speaker Boehner’s letter to Obama about the fiscal cliff earlier this week, offering massive tax revenue increases.

Re-hire the Conservatives and Fire the Speaker

Submitted by Steve Dickson on Thu, 12/06/2012 - 16:28

    Blog

A grave injustice has been done, and a failure needs to be addressed. The heavily Republican Oklahoma Congressional Delegation is positioned nicely to make a huge impact. They can advance the cause of conservative government - which is something they all ran for office claiming they would do. Now is the time to act, and stand, and be counted. First, the injustice:
Four Congressmen have been removed from positions because of their conservative positions. This was something the GOP leadership apparently had a problem with. Representatives Justin Amash (R-Michigan) and Tim Huelskamp (R-Kansas) were removed from the Budget Committee.

Representatives Walter Jones and (R-North Carolina) and David Schweikert (R-Arizona) were removed from the Financial Services Committee. Here is an article from Red State about this purge, and the records of these men. Fortunately, Oklahoma has some influence on the committee that makes these decisions.

Newly elected to the Chair of the House Policy Committee is Oklahoma's 5th District Representative James Lankford (McCarville Report story on that here). By virtue of this position he is on the Steering Committee for the GOP House Conference. Former Chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee Tom Cole, representing Oklahoma's 4th Congressional District, is also on the Steering Committee. Representative Frank Lucas - from Oklahoma's 3rd Congressional District - has been renamed Chairman of the House Agricultural Committee, a position of great influence (there are only 19 spots such as the one he holds). These three men in particular have major influence on their colleagues. Representatives Lankford and Cole, in particular, are on the actual committee (the Steering Committee) responsible for this attack on conservatives, and should do all in their power to reverse this and future purges of those who would uphold our Republican Platform.

The second item - the failure - is one of leadership, and it is the leadership of Speaker John Boehner. In addition to the above mentioned purge of conservatives, under his leadership our party has also lost part of it's majority in the House.

There is also the matter of his epic incompetence in fighting the agenda of the President. Most recently he has failed to adequately fight the battle of the so-called fiscal cliff. It is time for a real conservative who will stand against the tide of Statism and lead the members of the House into a future that follows our platform - smaller government, lower taxes, and more freedom. This is most definitely not happening with the current Speaker.

Oklahoma has five Representatives in the House. In the next Congress, they will all be Republicans. Add to the above listed members James Bridenstine (1st Congressional District) and Markwayne Mullin (2nd Congressional District), also both professed conservatives. All of these men will vote for a new Speaker of the House in January. To be elected Speaker takes 218 votes. There will be 234 GOP members in the 113th Congress. It only takes 17 defections to block John Boenher.

Please read this article from www.redstate.com for more. Our delegation has it in their power to shift the direction of the GOP back to fiscal conservatism. They should take such a step.

To be sure, such an action is extremely risky. So be it. Such actions will result in the significant loss of influence should it fail, which means less federal dollars for a Congressman's District and State. We all know the day is coming when the borrowed dollars will stop coming anyway. We are sick of Congress attempting to bribe us with our own and/or borrowed money. It is time to stop the borrowing. Time to stop the madness. It is time to fire the Speaker.

Representative James Bridenstine (campaign office) 918-877-0252
Representative-elect Markwayne Mullin (campaign office) 918-869-9118
    Representative Frank Lucas 202-225-5565
    Representative Tom Cole 202-225-6165
    Representative James Lankford - 202-225-2132

How you can fire Speaker Boehner

By: Ned Ryun (Diary) | December 7th, 2012 at 03:04 PM

If conservatives want to determine their own leadership on the Hill, it starts with firing John Boehner as Speaker.

I described how and why here.

We need all of you to make this happen. We only need 16 conservatives to abstain from the Speaker vote to depose Boehner and force the GOP caucus to pick new leadership.

We’ve had thousands of activists nationwide ask how they can help. For now, we suggest calling and writing conservative Congressmen in your area.

Here’s a suggested letter/email. For a list of target Congressmen to send it to, please scroll below. Here’s the link to email your Congressperson.

    Sample Email/Letter

    The Honorable (full name)
(Room #) (Name) House Office Building
    United States House of Representatives
    Washington, DC 20515
Re: Consider Abstaining Your Vote For Speaker Of The House

    Dear (Congressman/woman):

My name is (Full Name) and I am your constituent from (city), (State). I am writing to urge you to abstain from voting for Congressman John Boehner (R-OH) for Speaker of the House on January 3rd, 2013.

Our country is at a tipping point. We have passed the $16 trillion mark on our national debt and our interest payments are more than $3,000 per taxpayer per year. Our economic growth over the last four years has been anemic, growing just 2.7 percent in the third quarter of this year. We currently borrow 40 cents per every dollar spent, and inflation is eating away our future savings.

President Obama wants to punish our nation’s job creators by increasing taxes–a total of $800 billion taken out of the private sector–on the top income earners in our country as part of the fiscal cliff deal. This is the most devastating action one could take in a sluggish economy. The President proposed to cut spending on our nation’s national defense without putting welfare reform, the main driver of our national debt, on the table. President Obama is also urging our nation’s leaders to eternally remove the debt ceiling, our nation’s last defense against Washington’s rampant spending.
The House of Representatives is the conservatives’ last line of defense in blocking the fiscally destructive policies put forth by Democrats. As Speaker of the House, John Boehner is supposed to be the spokesman for fiscal responsibility and taking steps to do everything he can to stop Washington from destroying America’s future. Instead, Speaker Boehner is undercutting conservative principles by putting forth a liberal compromise of raising taxes–or “closing loopholes”–on our nation’s job creators, coupled with only $600 billion in spending cuts. This will hardly put a dent in our national debt and will likely put America in a recession.

Speaker Boehner has also waged an eternal war on a few of the most fiscally conservative members of the House by removing them from key committees, including the House Budget Committee and the Financial Services Committee. This was the nail in the coffin proving that Boehner is willing to fold on principles in the name of “compromise”.

In order to save the future of our country, we need to stop those in Congress who aren’t willing to put their foot down. We need an articulate spokesman in the House who is fiscally responsible and won’t cave on principle. We only need 16 Republican votes in the House to depose Congressman Boehner as Speaker of the House. As your constituent, I ask you to please stand on principle and abstain from voting for Speaker of the House on January 3rd, 2013.

    Sincerely,
    (Your Name)
    (Job Title)

    Dumping John Boehner

by Voices on December 10, 2012

It’s not possible for Republicans to dump Barack Obama in the next four years.

They have blown their opportunity to do that.

But the next best thing they can do right now is to dump John Boehner as speaker of the House.

Though Boehner has been portrayed in the media as some kind of hardliner who is intransigent and unwilling to compromise, the truth is that he is the opposite. He is an appeaser. He is an enabler. He is an accommodationist.

Boehner began waving the white flag of surrender to Obama soon after Republicans made him speaker in 2011. Since all spending bills need to originate in the House and because the Republican majority in the House has had absolute power to freeze spending, Boehner was dealt a powerful hand to keep Obama in check. Instead, he folded. Not only did he fold repeatedly, he even signaled before negotiations about spending ever began that he intended to fold.

He has repeatedly dismissed the idea that freezing the debt limit was a political option. That’s like unilaterally disarming before one’s enemies.
    But it gets worse.

So determined is Boehner to raise taxes as part of a deal to avoid the so-called “fiscal cliff,” he recently purged from chairmanships every conservative Republican who took a harder line than he did over the last two years.

Call Boehner, McCarthy, and Cantor — Tell them to restore fiscal conservatives to key committees. Select Here.
