BREAKING: Donald Trump Just Named His Running Mate!

Donald Trump continues to dominate every poll in key primary states for the GOP presidential primary. He has been a bold conservative, sounding the alarm on illegal immigration and the threat of Syrian refugees.



Now, he just came as close as he ever will to naming his Vice Presidential running mate. It appears he wants Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) to join the ticket. This is a political earthquake that would shake the political establishment to the core!

e it.Donald Trump on Tuesday named Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) when asked about his possible running mate in 2016.

“Ted Cruz is now agreeing with me 100 percent,” he said when asked about his vice presidential pick, according to Lifezette.
“Well, I like him,” Trump told radio host Laura Ingraham during her broadcast. “He’s backed everything I’ve said.”

Unlike most of the Republican presidential hopefuls, Cruz has mostly refrained from attacking Trump, even appearing alongside him at a rally in September against the Iran nuclear deal.

The pair has also struck similar tones on topics such as border security and illegal immigration.

Seems to me the title is misleading. Although Cruz seems like a potential running mate Trump would not announce this now. Some of the comments to the article date back into Nov. so think it's older too. Time will tell eh?

It's over a month old and most importantly it was before this last debate and before the comment about Trump that Cruz made behind closed doors that got out.

Sorry, didn't notice a date. Oh well, it works for me (if it happens).

No problem, MW. As for VP, I really hope Trump picks someone who is also an outsider, someone not already entangled in the web of donors and twisted promises who wants to serve the country as a public servant, not pursue the positions to satisfy upward political mobility and feed personal career aspirations.

Our country is in total and complete shambles because since Eisenhower, who was not a politician, we've elected candidates for President from both parties from a small cadre of aspiring US Senators and Governors. And to a person, they've done nothing for us except embroil us in War, massive immigration, soaring debt and disastrous trade policies.

We need people with a different resume than "politician" "Senator", "Governor". We need people with common sense, intelligence and an unwavering loyalty to the American People. We need people who won't take an oath and swear to tell the truth then say 2 years later in a race for the White House "oh that was not really my position, that was just a poison pill". We need people who won't publicly defend someone who was for legalization without citizenship and who wanted more foreign workers to come in an steal our jobs and tell us someone who wants that is "with our side".

We need to do better than this. We have to. This is the most important election of our life times because we are on the brink of another war with no means to pay for it and another recession with no money for more safety nets or bail-outs.

The Gang of Eight Bill, S 744 passed by a Super Majority. 68-32. There were 45 Republicans and 2 Independents in the Senate that year. So no one could even convince all of our own Party to vote against it, let alone convince 4 Democrats to vote against it. These are not the people who can fight terrorism, avoid war, fix our economy or bring Peace on Earth. They can't do it because they don't want to. From before they get to the office, they're already under the control of their donors and we're left with twisted promises.

And it's not just the ones in the news now, it's universal and spans decades.
