We're going to have a big job this year fighting Republican traitors in Congress, so get ready.
Unfortunately, and for whatever reason, Trump seems to be cozying up with Ryan. If he's got Trump's ear, we could be in more trouble than we think!

It's hard to believe Ryan would be going on national T.V. and saying these things unless he believed he had Trump's backing.

Included in Trump's promises for his first 100 days in office:

    Excerpt:

    1. Cancel Obama executive actions on immigration and guns.

Presidents are free to revoke or modify their own orders or those issued by a predecessor. Trump could revoke President Barack Obama’s executive actions as soon as he takes office. Trump has promised to rescind Obama’s immigration and gun executive orders, terminating the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (or DACA) "immediately."

Undoing DACA, which deferred deportation and allowed immigrants to apply for work permission, would make undocumented people who arrived in the United States as children subject to deportation. (He’s said that the "terrific" ones would have an opportunity to return legally.) Some 740,000 people have been approved for DACA, and research suggests up to 1.7 million people are potentially eligible.

Trump also promised to eliminate Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents or DAPA, an expanded version of DACA proposed by Obama in 2014. That program, which applies to some 5 million people, is on hold due to a Supreme Court deadlock.

Trump called Obama’s executive order to require background checks on firearms sold at gun shows an assault on the Second Amendment, and vowed he would "unsign that so fast." He’s also promised to ban gun-free zones in schools and on military bases on day one.

It is 12 midnight EST. The Town Hall replay is on CNN now. I think the immigration part is in about 40-45 minutes. They will talk about Obamacare, Medicare, Trade, Russia, etc.

Several times during the town hall, on different issues, Jake Tapper prefaces statements and questions to Paul Ryan with, you and the President elect do not see eye to eye or something similar on this.

MW, I believe they will address DACA in the early days. The question is will it become a type of repeal and replace. Between a DACA and DAPA type legislation you can give amnesty to millions when you allow family members to have coat tails.

I hope the American people keep the pressure on lawmakers. Speaker Ryan, other Republicans, including Senators Graham and McCain will work with democrats to give us that same deal from 1986, promised border security for amnesty. I do think border security will come this time and visa problems and overstays will be addressed. I don't know however about the so called illegal alien dreamers and others. If we enforce immigration laws, remove benefits, they shouldn't be able to work or continue their illegal presence.

Will EVerify become national for every business, every hire? I hope so.

Trump will end DACA and DAPA. He said he would, so I believe he will. If he doesn't, I like everyone else will be very upset about that.

    Have you read this yet?

    Excerpt:

Mr. Ryan said the charge he has taken from Mr. Trump is to target the serious criminals for deportation while finding a way to grant Dreamers and other low-priority illegal immigrants legal status.

If I'm reading this correctly, it would seem Trump has directed Ryan to find a way to give illegals amnesty. If that's so, we may be fighting Trump on the amnesty issue too!

I understand what he said. We will see what the Trump side says. Paul Ryan is a social justice operative.

Ryan: Have to Find Way to Make Sure DACA People Can 'Get Right With the Law' and Doesn't Break Up Families
    Breitbart

    by IAN HANCHETT 12 Jan 2017 17

During a town hall with CNN on Thursday, House Speaker Representative Paul Ryan (R-WI) stated that there won’t be a deportation force going after people who received protection under DACA, and there needs to be a solution for people protected under the act so they can get “right with the law” and doesn’t separate families.

Ryan was asked by a woman who said she had been protected from deportation by DACA if he believed she should be deported. He answered that he didn’t. He added, “I hope you’re future is here. I’ll even repeat the sentiment the our incoming president says. That’s the problem he wants to focus on. This is not the focus. And so, what we have to do is find a way to make sure that you can get right with the law, and we’ve got to do this in a good way so that the rug doesn’t get pulled out from under you and your family gets separated. That’s the way we feel, and that is exactly what our new incoming president has stated he wants to do.”

He further stated that the woman should not be afraid about a “deportation force” knocking on her door later this year.

Ryan also said that there needs to be a solution for DACA kids and there is a “constitutional issue” with the fact that DACA was done by the president without Congress.

When asked if he would introduce legislation to block the use of information the government has on people who received protection from DACA to deport them, Ryan answered, “No. Everybody thinks that there’s some deportation force that’s being assembled. That’s not happening.”

    NO AMNESTY

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

I don't believe that at all. Trump has never said that. Paul Ryan can not be trusted.

When I heard Speaker Ryan this evening I immediately thought of this interview on EWTN from years ago, I searched for it and found it. Watch it and hear how he talks in 2013. No different today. Ryan is for amnesty, period.

To hear the immigration part, skip to around 19:00 and you will see a banner that says, "Immigration Reform". You may want to hear more of what Ryan says on other things.
