Dianne, if you saw my post earlier, I said I am voting for NO
dems at state level & will vote for repubs. My state sen Neil Hunt
(R) seems to be on board or at least his emails seem reassuring.
I will not, just absolutely will not vote for Brad Miller (D-13th)
even if satan were running against him.
I don't know what more repubs can ask of me except maybe to
lay off the margaritas.
Maybe my mom is to that point, but I doubt it. I think old school
NC dems find it hard to believe the state level dems are buying
into the illegal agenda totally. She also has her minister saying
they should help the illegals. Hopefully, the old school people who
don't have internet access can get the info somehow.

10-31-2006, 03:11 PM #23My grandmother doesn't have internet access or a PC for that matter and I've tried to convince her to get one, but to no avail. Maybe she's smart because she doesn't have to read about all the bad stuff going on like we do. Maybe she just doesn't want to know. Sometimes I wish I didn't know because then I probably wouldn't be so depressed and angry all the time like I am now. Maybe ignorance is bliss. I'll never know.Hopefully, the old school people who

Great analysis dman. The logic is there to make the proper decision for America next week. I hope many find their way to through it.
I will vote for conservative Republican Ron Lewis to return to Congress. I'm not giving up any margaritas though.

dem4labor,
I am in the same boat as you. I used to be a dem supporter and even voted for Kerry because he was a dem but when I started looking at the voting records of my dem reps I saw that all the dems except for 2 or 3 in my entire state (IL) were complete and total traitors. I almost flipped out.
I'm not a repub either and will vote for whoever says the words "deport' and 'secure the border' and has the voting record to back it up.
It just so happens that the repubs are the only one's fighting the president on border and guest worker issues. In my state it's not only the dems that vote against Americans, it's every single latino politician. Every single one. They vote for race (illegal or not) and not for America. They even work for mexico.
I can't vote for anyone with a latino sounding name or a dem except for my rep who actually voted FOR HR4437 and the border fence. He took a lot of heat but stood by his votes in the face of protests. Not the usual dem.
It's not about repubs or dems anymore. For me, it's about who is the 'least' corrupt and willing to vote for AMERICAN interests against the mexican invasion."There's no such thing as ILLEGALalien-able rights!" REGRESO E MEXICO !

Americans are the VOTERS...NOT illegal aliens (legal voters anyway!)
Immigration is my #1 issue above all others when it comes Nov. 7.
And frankly, I'm NOT interested in lip service now...I will be looking at how EVERY incumbent voted over the past few years...esp. this year."Immigrants " come here LEGALLY! Press 1 for "I'll spend my American dollars @ a company for ENGLISH ONLY!"
