Immigration debate gnaws at meaning of citizenship
In California, and elsewhere in the United States, activists are debating not only immigration – but who should get to be a citizen.

"But there is a growing push by anti-illegal immigration groups to prevent the children of undocumented immigrants from acquiring birthright citizenship – a policy they believe is a magnet for illegal immigration. In Congress, 95 lawmakers this year backed a proposal to do just that.

And in California, two activists are working on a statewide initiative that could indirectly challenge birthright citizenship. The proposal, which needs nearly 434,000 signatures to make the November 2008 ballot, would distinguish between birth certificates issued to the children of U.S. citizens and green-card holders and to the children of temporary visitors and illegal immigrants."

this is our National Suicide going on right now at a breakneck pace as we type. inflicted on us by PC sissies who snuck into positions of power and refuse to stop the anchor invasion (because, you know, they might get called a nasty name - oh the horror!).

It is not entirely passive, Latino gang members kill black Americans simply because they are black. They also burn the houses of black Americans who resist moving out.

I hate to give the credit, but the SPLC did do a good report on this Latino ethnic cleansing of blacks.

California citizens MUST assist with making sure that they get enough signatures to get this on the ballot.

Call talk radio shows, post comments/links under local newspaper articles, pass out printed flyers at grocery stores, etc.

My mother did NOT become an American simply by being BORN here because HER parents were LEGAL foreign residents, Ukranian escapees from Communist Russia. She became an American a few years LATER at age four or five when her PARENTS became Americans. Yet, children of ILLEGAL aliens ARE granted BIRTHRIGHT American citizenship. My mom could NEVER decipher THIS! She said that if children of LEGAL residents were NOT automatic birthright citizens, HOW in the world could children of ILLEGALS be instant birthright Americans?! Illegal simply CANNOT beget LEGAL, my mom said.
