12-22-2007, 12:10 AM #51SoSad, that is very funny! What Huckabillie was referencing was a thing that the Beatles did back in the 1960's with backward masking and continuing the rumor that Paul McCartney was dead. I can't remember exactly what song it was but sposedly if you played it backwards it would say "Paul is dead, Paul is dead, Paul is dead" quite an amazing coincidence that it scrolled at the same time........or is it?

12-22-2007, 02:31 AM #53Butterbean is right. If any member runs for office, they are taken off the member roster. They then serve their term, then are put back on the roster. They do this because the CFR states they are not a political organization (wich is a huge lie).

Sosadforus: I think I just got onboard for Ron Paul. Your links to the eagleforum has me now informed about the greatest threat this country has ever known and that is the North American Union. I now want to read Tancredo's book, In Mortal Danger. Tancredo was desperately trying to inform the people of this conspiracy, and that is exactly what it is. I have to wonder why he endorsed Romney, a member of CFR, I can't believe he would do something he thinks would harm our future.
That being said, the only one not a member of CRF appears to be Ron Paul, so count me in.
Leading the fight is Lou Dobbs. This is a good video for those just learning about this.

Welcome aboard, Martha!!
I guess denial didn't sit to well with you after all.
The video you posted is a great primer on what's happening, and I thank Lou Dobbs for having the temerity and fortitude to broadcast it.
Now that you've been 'un-brainwashed', get with the people you know LOCALLY and educate them. We're going to need all the help we can get.

To clarify something though, I have not found any evidence Romney is a member of the CRF, he has been connected with them but not a member, I am still looking for more information. I was also stressed about Tancredo support for Romney, and in my opinion I think Tom backed him because he feels he has the best chance to win, of course with the hopes he will stick to his campaign promises on illegal immigration.
I myself am just weary of flip floppers. Thompson is a member of the CFR, he is talking a hard line on illegal immigration but the CFR is a big problem for me.
I believe this country needs alot of changes to make a difference and although illegal immigration is #1 for me (because I believe we need to stop it to stop NAU), I believe Paul is advocating for the most changes and not the same old crap that is destroying our country.
That said all we can do is educate each other, put our own priorities first (what we think is the most inportant changes are country needs)and pick who we think is the best person and the one we have the most trust in.
I am still hoping there is something to Lou Dobbses push to get people to re-register as an independant...I trust Lou Dobbs!!
until then all we can do is educate ourselves and choose according to what in our heart is right.
Yes read "In mortal Danger" great book, but it was written by "Pat Buchanan" Alot about the North American Union.
also...Lou Dobbs. "War on the Middle Class" is an excellent book
Also for the North American Union is Corsi's new book " The Late Great USA" the best on the NAU!
Education is the key to knowlege, especially if everyone truely wants to understand what has to be done to save our country, and an open mind is important so you are able to connect all you learn.
GOOD LUCK!! and happy reading... Martha

I did not have a chance to read all the post here and if these links have already been posted i apologize.
http://www.knowyourrino.com/general/...der_agenda.htm
The above link does list Romney as an "affiliate" of CFR evidently he has written articles for, and are posted at, the CFR website.
http://www.foreignaffairs.org/200707...hallenges.html
The above is an article Romney wrote for CFR.
"The US agency for International Development", who pays for this no this is wrong? If we had good trade then Veterans can form companies who can through the private sector assist and train paid for by our foriegn friends not our taxes. If citizens here want to help let them fund the private sector who train and assist our foriegn friends however not by our taxes. The system now is like a Dictatorship where we are forced to pay for the UnConstitutional occupation of foriegn countries. This is not fair not all agree yet we are forced to pay....In the aftermath of World War II and with the coming of the Cold War, members of "the greatest generation" united America and the free world around shared values and actions that changed history. They unified U.S. military and security efforts, creating the Department of Defense and the National Security Council. They rethought U.S.
approaches to the world, building the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and the Peace Corps. They forged alliances, such as NATO, that magnified the power of freedom and created a world trading system that helped launch the greatest expansion of economic and political freedom and development in history. Our times call for equally bold leadership and for a renewed sense of service and shared sacrifice among Americans and our allies around the world.
Today, the nation's attention is focused on Iraq. All Americans want U.S. troops to come home as soon as possible. But walking away now or dividing Iraq up into parts and walking away later would present grave risks to the United States and the world. Iran could seize the Shiite south, al Qaeda could dominate the Sunni west, and Kurdish nationalism could destabilize the border with Turkey. A regional conflict could ensue, perhaps even requiring the return of U.S. troops under far worse circumstances. There is no guarantee that the new strategy pursued by General Petraeus will ultimately succeed, but the stakes are too high and the potential fallout too great to deny our military leaders and troops on the ground the resources and the time needed to give it an opportunity to succeed.
IMO the error of the WWII aftermath was government taxation involvement, everything should have been privatized to releive the excuse for taxes from our citizens.
HUNTER CHALLENGES ROMNEY AT IOWA DEBATE
http://mychoice2008.wordpress.com/20...bate%e2%80%8f/
[quote]Presidential candidate and U.S. Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA) again challenged former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney on his refusal to call on his former company, Bain Capital, to drop its strategic partnership with Chinese defense contractor Huawei Technologies in a bid to buy U.S. defense contractor 3Com. At a televised Republican debate, Hunter inquired as to why Romney would not use his continued influence with Bain to terminate the proposed merger between Huawei and 3Com, an action which, according to a recent report in The Washington Times, would threaten U.S. national security...
...“As the founder of Bain Capital, Governor Romney has an obligation to utilize his influence within the company to terminate the proposed merger between 3Com and Chinese defense contractor Huawei,â€"As has happened before in our history, if you have open borders poor country governments will pay people to move here, promising them a better life in the New World"*

12-22-2007, 06:36 PM #59I like Dobbs a great deal; but I am worried about his rallying people to re-register. I posted a local article about a week ago that said the Independents will be allowed to vote Democrat, but not Republican in the primaries. The Dems could get as many as 15,000 local votes from this maneuver. I don't understand this. Would you like me to find the article?
