We have a very large contractor here called Vaquero Construction. The company is solely owned by a Mexican man who lives here in Houston. They were awarded a huge contract doing the construction work widening Interstate 10. This was a huge long term project that has been going on for 5 years.

If you look at the crews they have working, it looks just like what you would find standing in a Home Depot parking lot waiting on those ,jobs that American just don't want to do. None of them speak English. We found out that a large percentage of these so called "employees" are not here legally. Not to mention, the corporation itself s listed by the state as being in"unfavorable status." Check it out: Texas Comptroller

I have a funny feeling reporting this to ICE will do no good since this project has been going on for about 5 years. It is also apparent that the Mexican who owns this company obviously know someone high up in the State to get a contract like this. Ice is obviously ignoring this situation.

I saw a link somewhere that people like us could report business who hire illegals. Anyone remember this site?

Its a crying shame that when so many Americans are out of work, illegals are bing hired at slave wages to do construction jobs like that that are big money contracts. Ten years ago, nothing but Americans did these jobs and were glad to do them. Now all you see are illegal aliens.
