    I'm Livid!!!

To say I am rip-snorting livid at what the Senate "Republi-crats" did today is a gross understatement! Where have these people been that they are so out of touch with the American public...or don't they care? I have already written to Frist and McCain to tell them I won't vote for them in 2008. If I have to, I'll write in Vincente Fox, since he seems to be calling the shots. While I'm on the subject...I heard that one of the amendments passed mandates that the U.S. will have to win the approval of Mexico before we can enforce our border and immigration laws!! I haven't yet searched the amendments for that one. Is this true? Once again the American taxpayer is going to foot the bill. This time for the "fine," in the form of EIC...which will amount to $2000-$3000! Pretty convenient, isn't it? I've been thinking about the "Taxation without representation" idea. Surely I will be granted amnesty if I choose not to pay my taxes next year! After all, I am a legitimate American citizen, and therefore deserve at least SOME of the consideration shown millions of law breakers!!

The part about contacting Mexico before any border fencing can procede is true. It was part of the Manager's Amendment added to the bill at the last minute by...a little drum roll please...Arlen Spectre. I chose to purposely misspell his name because S-P-E-C-T-R-E was the name of the imaginary group trying to take over control of the free world in an old spy series. Or was that James Bond? Sorry, but it's late and I'm not thinking clearly.

Thanks for verifying that info for me! Now I'm REALLY snarling!! I forgot to mention that I heard Sen. Lindsey Graham interviewed today on a talk show. He had the audacity to state that 3/4 of all Americans support President Bush's "Guest Worker Program" (aka amnesty). I wonder what planet he's been on. I have to wonder what the real agenda is. I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but why is it that the average American understands what a disaster this will be socially and fiscally, and our esteemed senators don't get it?

    United States of Mexico!

I'm afraid that's what is happening! I wish I knew why our elected officials are catering to illegal immigrants and Vincente Fox instead of their constituents. Mexico has little to offer us, except oil...which we will never get. I'm certainly not against LEGAL immigration, but this is a slap in the face to legitimate American citizens and those who remain in their own country, while attempting to come here legally. I know the Senate has been deluged with letters, faxes, and phone calls this past week...but we have to double up on that in our contacts with Congress now. As mentioned earlier, there is NO WAY I will vote for Frist or McCain in 2008, and I'll be (expletive) if I will ever vote for Jeb Bush!! I voted for the current Bush twice and have been profoundly betrayed. I won't take a chance on another Bush. I'll be looking carefully at the candidates' voting record on this issue. Americans have so much to lose...so PLEASE take some action!! Start contacting Congress now...all of 'em, not just your Representative.

Money I suspect, along with "political capital" for further the agenda of those they truly serve, the corporate interests and moneyed folks who want to further globilization.

    What money??

What money? Mexico doesn't have much of that...illegal immigrants are exporting much of our $$$ home, though! As far as globalization goes...I'm a skeptic. I've heard the theory many times. At first I dismissed it as paranoia, but at this point I have to rethink that one. If it's true, I could believe that's what the Dems are up to. At the moment, though, there doesn't appear to be much difference between the parties. It's too bad that third parties are never taken seriously because if ever there was time for a really good third party candidate, it's now! Without knowing anything else about him other than the fact that he believes in the rule of law, I would like to see Sheriff Joe Arapaio, AZ run in 2008! He's the guy of tent city and pink underwear fame. He organized a posse to round up illegals and plans to detain them in one of his tent cities!! When asked if he had enough room, he said he is willing to erect more tent cities!!!

    Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome message. One thing I really hate about all this is that, thanks to our elected officials, we have yet another division in this country. Maybe that's their aim...divide and conquer!! I am not opposed to LEGAL immigration, but I really resent these law breakers and those officials who are rewarding them with benefit after benefit, at our expense. Never in my life have I been a racist...but I'm finding myself feeling very resentful of every Hispanic I see these days. I don't like that at all, but how can I feel otherwise when they are sucking the life blood out of this country and being allowed to ignore laws that any legitimate American would serve prison time for?

I can buy that divide and conquer theory. Divide them in half then you can kick each one of them in the ass, one at a time. They are really in for it if they become citizens.
