Corrected Gravis poll has Trump well out in front of Clinton at national level

    June 20, 2016
    By Sierra Rayne

After an onslaught of highly liberal biased polls against Donald Trump during the past week, it was refreshing to see an only modestly biased poll – in relative terms – released on Saturday by Gravis.

In its biased form, the poll shows Trump only 2% behind Hillary Clinton in the head-to-head matchup, far below the ridiculously large Clinton leads of up to 12% that Bloomberg and other leftist media outlets have been oozing of late.

But once we correct for biases in this Gravis poll, Trump is undoubtedly now well out in front of Clinton.

In the poll's demographics, 40% of respondents said they were Democrats compared to just 33% who were Republicans. This 7% Democrat advantage is almost assuredly about 6% above where it should be – meaning Clinton's narrow 2% lead should likely be upward of at least a 4% deficit behind Trump.

Further evidence of liberal bias in the poll comes from questions about Tea Party support, abortion, religious affiliation, and education.

Just 11% of those surveyed said they were members of the Tea Party. This value should be about 17%, suggesting – as with the party affiliation – about a 6% liberal bias.

The poll also shows a 17% advantage to pro-choice over pro-life, well above the known 6% spread in favor of pro-choice. This signifies a major liberal bias in the demographics, as the pro-choice side has not had an advantage larger than 10% since the 1990s.

When it comes to religious affiliation, the poll oversampled Muslims (2% versus 1%) and Catholics (25% versus less than 21%) and looks to have massively undersampled Evangelicals (10% versus 25%), resulting in more liberal bias. Evangelicals will vote dominantly for Trump, whereas Muslims and many Catholics are likely to lean toward Clinton.

A full 50% of the poll's respondents had a bachelor's degree or higher, compared to 34% in reality, introducing more liberal bias.

Based on the full range of liberal biases present, a reasonable estimate of Trump's actual lead over Clinton is in the range of at least 5% once the polling data is corrected.

We knew there was bias in these polls and it's great to see how they do it exposed. Thank you Jean!

Yes, it is going to be quite a ride. Everyone needs to remember that the polls are responses to the media blitz against Trump, along with that Hillary lying ad blitz, along with all the phony Republicans who can't decide whether or not to support our nominee or try to defeat him or just hurt him by "keeping their distance". None of this is Trump's doing, it's a dishonest biased lying media, Desperate Democrats and Sore Loser Republicans. It will all pass. The issues will rise to the top and with them, Donald Trump, because what he wants to do is exactly what we need and precisely what we want.

Look at the crazy Republicans trying to mount this rule change to unbind the bound delegates! Are they insane? Is there some way the people of the states can unelect them as delegates? Seems fair enough to me. Recall their asses, STATES FOR TRUMP! Get these treasonous RINOS out of our Convention.

The Democrats have a well organized machine in the toss up states. Hillary, Like hubbie Bill, has the on-camera technique down very well. I actually met the latter, face to face when there were only a handful of people around, and he was nothing like he appears on camera. It was the look of a cold, calculating super liberal. Just like some other people I knew.

The GOP should also be concerned with keeping Sen. Ron Johnson in Wisconsin and with the Senate races in Nevada, Illinois, Colorado and a couple of other states. Sen. Johnson has been doing very well as Chair of the Senate Homeland Security Committee. And it takes time to get these people trained!

Now...the media is saying that Trump's family members urged the firing of Lewandoski. I sure hope that the Trump junior generation gets busy on winning over the undecided voters. They've go the resources, if anyone does. They should do it for the good old USA!

The most believable story I heard today was that Paul Manafort wanted Corey gone and if they didn't fire Corey, then he was going to leave the campaign. The family thought with the General coming on that Paul was more valuable than Corey, and perhaps he is, they didn't want to risk losing Paul because he has all that general election experience from 5 o 6 Presidential campaigns, so Corey was let go.

He was an adviser to the presidential campaigns of Republicans Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bob Dole, George W. Bush and John McCain, and is currently employed by the presidential campaign of Donald Trump,

Obviously, he's won some and lost some, so I hope no one is putting all their eggs in Paul's basket. Trump still needs to run this campaign his way.
