Thread: I fired my lawnmowing guy

I hired my neighbor who is a landscaper to mow my lawn. Guess what he shows up with 2 illegals. I ran outside and asked him "Why dont you hire Americans?" He says Oh these guys work harder. I said B.S they work cheaper you mean. Goodbye. My husband said oh now you got a neighbor all mad and I am wasting my time because the illegals are taking over. I hired somebody else for the same price mind you. If he ever shows up with illegals he will get fired too. I am normally quite shy and dont make waves but I refuse to contribute one cent to an illegal. to help him get an apartment with 20 other men. Please folks if an illegal shows up to mow your lawn or whatever please keep calling until you find somebody that hires Americans only

Watch your car keep it in for the next few weeks, ILLEGALS ARE EXPERT at petty revenge.

If more people do this, then we wouldn't have so much of a problem.
You would think with 10% unemployment that more Americans would be outrage with what this neighbor did.

I call landscpe places asking for work and they say they are not hiring.I call same place from another phone and tell them I am a contractor that is returning to SC but I have 3 "migrant" workers that need work and want to live in the area.9 0f 10 say they have no work for me.8 of these same 10 tell me(as the contractor) to send the "migrants" over for applications

I really really got mad when my neighbor said they work harder. I am so sick of hearing those lies. I took it as an insult to all American men most of whom work two jobs to support there families. Thanks for the support guys.

We rent a house from some liberal weenie heads. They included housekeeping with the rent, and of course, it's provided by this group of illegals. We KNOW they pay them next to nothing to do it.

This has been going on for 2 years and I never liked it. They'd come in, all talking spanish, running through my house, upstairs and downstairs. I mean -- most people would like the cleaning, of course, but I just felt uncomfortable not really knowing who they were.

I called up our rental service lately and told them I don't want the cleaning service anymore. I hinted that they were illegal, and of course, they said, "well, everyone knows Americans won't do the job."

I can do it myself. I don't care -- our house is large, but I don't need people that I have NO idea what their idenitity is, in my house when I'm not at home.

It's a small move, but if EVERYONE did this, their protected jobs would dry up and they'd all just leave.

COME ON, Americans -- put your country first -- not your profits!!!

We fired our landscaper for the same reason about 4 years ago. I have been cutting my own yard since then. Not only do I work harder than any illegal, I also do a much better job.

I will not deny that many of these illegals work very hard. But it's not that Americans won't work harder, it's that AMericans COST MORE -- and that's why they're not being hired.

It's a corporate lie -- and it's a lie from small business owners as well. Contractors, etc -- they're all employing them to save a buck or reap a profit.

THIS is also what Americans need to concentrate on -- is SHAMING these people for selling out their own citizens.

I wish I had the time. I'd start a CAMPAIGN to HIRE AMERICAN. It's what we need now to place a stigma on hiring illegals.
