    I have posted before on the bien pensant opinion that Japan’s immigration policy is–second only to its tenacious harvesting of whales and blue fin tuna–antediluvian at best, and more correctly reactionary and racist, as well as self-destructive if not suicidal. Now, we are talking about the Japanese, by the same accounts a remarkably civilized, cultured, and—as we have observed recently—orderly and uncomplaining people. How is it that they can be so wrong-minded about immigration?

    To get a bit ahead of the argument, my own view of immigration begins with the question: To whom does a country belong? My answer: To its citizens. That is, citizens “ownâ€

    If multiculturalism and diversity are such “strengths," then how come Japan (and many other non-white nations) has not seemingly embraced it by opening up their countries to floods of third-world immigrants? Further, why has there been no pressure from the international community that they do so? Why is multiculturalism and diversity largely a social doctrine reserved for white western nations? If it’s so good for us, shouldn’t it also be good for them?

    Perhaps Japan has been able to weather this latest tragedy because they are largely a homogeneous nation, with a sense of national kinship and "solidarity", not present in countries which have had the doctrines of diversity imposed upon them.

    Multi Culturalism has destroyed every single nation (gradually) that its creators have mercilessly pushed it on...It is designed to destroy the host nations culture and people...
