Bill O'Reilly: Culture Warrior or Turncoat to Mass-Media
Anyone else think that O'Reilly has, um, changed his tune in the past 10 days or so?
My open letter to O'Reilly:
TO: oreilly@foxnews.com
SUBJECT: Why Such Little Coverage on the Amnesty Bill?
Dear Bill O'Reilly,
Why are you avoiding the hot-topics that encompass the current Amnesty bill that has fired up the Nation ? About a week ago, you voiced a strong opinion against the Comprehensive Immigration Bill S.1348, but within 24 hours, you changed your opinion.
When you changed your opinion, you announced that you were accepting the Comprehensive Immigration Bill, better known as The Grand Bargain, or in the real world, "AMNESTY".
As a viewer of your show, I continue to question your actions, or rather the lack thereof. In truth, as the author of "Culture Warrior", I expected more from you. What has happened? You have done nothing for America in taking this stance, yet you declare that you are, indeed, a Patriot to the United States. Are you a Patriot? I feel that you have aligned with a very small minority of politicians because you decided to accept (or more aptly, settle) the Amnesty Bill so that our borders would become secure.
This was your opinion, your rationalization, for accepting the S.1348 Bill. I was stunned to see that you took an about-face within such a short time. Do you actually believe that our border security should be held as a bargaining-chip for the passage of the Z-Visa and Amnesty for 12-20 million illegal aliens in our Nation? Or have you aligned with the illegal aliens, a handful of politikers, and big business? When I visited your website today, I did notice your large banner ad for immigrant banking at http://www.emigrantdirect.com and shook my head in disbelief at the question on their front page: "Do you and your family prefer to bank in the Spanish language?"
So did politicians get to you, or did the illegal alien movement cut you a deal that you couldn't refuse? After all, on your radio show about a week ago, you did say that if the government got bad and decided to redistribute the wealth, you would leave the country. What has happened? I thought you were THE Culture Warrior......
Since you were away last week, I waited patiently to see your show last night, on Tuesday. I was hoping to see that in your week's absence you changed your opinion to align more closely with the majority of U.S. citizens.
Needless to say, the content of your show is continuing to decline. I feel that you have joined in with other benign mass-media, Bill O'Reilly. Tuesday's show focused on some rather small issues (the Colorado high school incident, the continuing Rosie versus The Donald fued, and the Hollywood substance abusers). While America is facing one of the largest cultural issues known in our history, you are glossing over the Comprehensive Immigration Bill. What you offered last evening was a very short bit on immigration and racial prejudice. Only this while our Nation is on the brink of a large cultural change.
I would have thought more of the author of "Culture Warrior"."The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them." Patrick Henry

What he really wants is a loofa sponge I am glad that his true colors are showing. I lost any respect for him after he settled the sexual harassment suit. The only person he is looking out for is himself

Maybe somebody in the Bush adminatration some how got to him, they kind of remind me of the mob anyway with the tactics they use. This adminatration is capable of anything.

yup, he waffles back and forth - he knows it is majorly wrong when he sees two young girls slaughtered in VA Beach by illegal Aliens and has rejected sanctuary cities.
But, unfortunately like our Senators, he says the only way to end the "anarchy" (as he says) is to give all the illegal Aliens an ID and hence an amensty - I told him, "NO Bill is not OK to give them ID's and forget about it."
He even acknowleged on his show that this would mean huge changes in the U.S. demographics and culture.
NO Bill,
It is a massive illegal intrusion and violation of U.S. soil, that we do NOT have to pay for and you are capitulating to Mexico and the Mexican flag!!!
No matter what happens - NO AMNESTY - illegal Aliens are to sit, sit, sit, sit, sit in their crammed U.S. houses with fake ID 's FOREVER and get nothing - Illegal Aliens can cope with being illegal as they always have and Americans can cope with illegal Aliens sitting around better than nervous cowardly Senators and Congressmen.

I also meant to add, that yes, at the end of the day, O'Reilly sides with big media and the Elites - he goes with the sold out power structure -- he likely knows about the North America Union

Bill O'Reilly has been bought and owned for years now. I remember when that billionaire Saudi prince who bought a huge block of NewsCorp stock demanded that coverage of certain stories be reported as he wanted them to. Most of this censhorship, if you ask me, is directed toward Fox News' reporting on Islamic Jihadists and he even had them alter their reporting on the French Muslim riots a few years back.
If one rich stockholder can influence the integrity of reporting on Fox News Channel, I wonder what other stockholders have been influencing their reporting on other issues, namely the illegal alien invasion?
From the website: Militant Islam Monitor
Saudi billionaire Bin Talal suicide bomber fundraiser
ordered FOX news to alter coverage of Muslim riots in France
December 8, 2005 - Washington, DC - PipeLineNews.org - Accuracy in Media (AIM) is urging a full inquiry into a report that a Saudi billionaire caused the Fox News Channel (FNC) to dramatically alter its coverage of the Muslim riots in France after he called the network to complain. The Saudi billionaire, Al-waleed bin Talal, is a friend of News Corporation chairman Rupert Murdoch and controls an influential number of voting shares in the company.
"This report underscores the danger of giving foreign interests a significant financial stake in U.S. media companies," declared Cliff Kincaid, editor of Accuracy in Media.
The controversial comments came at an Arab media conference featuring representatives of Time magazine, USA Today, PBS, The Wall Street Journal, and other news organizations. The conference and the Saudi Prince's growing influence in News Corporation are among the subjects of a new December-A AIM Report that has just been posted at the AIM website (www.aim.org). The report raises the specter of Arab money influencing News Corporation and other U.S. media companies.
Liberal journalist Danny Schechter, a participant in the conference, reports that Al-waleed, who is a member of the Saudi Royal Family and investor in the Fox News parent company News Corporation, gave an interview boasting that he had called Fox to complain about coverage of the "Muslim riots" in France. He said he "called as a viewer" and "convinced them to change" the coverage because "they were not Muslim riots but riots against poverty and inequality." And "they changed" the coverage, the Saudi reportedly said.
Another report on the comments, carried by the Dubai-based newspaper the Khaleej Times, says that Al-waleed personally called Rupert Murdoch to complain. The Saudi said, "After a short while, there was a change" in the coverage.
An AIM call to Fox News asking for comment was not returned.
This is not the first time that Al-waleed has made controversial statements. His $10 million contribution to a 9/11 fund was rejected when he blamed the terror attacks on U.S. Middle East policy. Fifteen of the 19 terrorist hijackers on 9/11 came from Saudi Arabia.[b][i][size=117]"Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die. Through love of having children, we are going to take over.â€
