Trump was a gentleman and , as I expected, was magnanimous toward Ted Cruz in his speech. I think the elbow thing was just an unfortunate accident in a close space on the stage.

Lyin' Ted won't be getting any slack from me.
Cruz stood up for us in the Senate when very few would. I'm sick of dealing with you, Judy. ALIPAC used to be enjoyable for me, but you've ended that. I'll do my part and vote Trump for President just like I did in the NC primary, but I refuse to listening to anymore of your rhetoric. Trust me, I'm not the first one you've completely turned off around here. If I don't get permanently banned for venting my frustration with you, perhaps I'll be back after the presidential elections. You win, I lose.

Oh yes, of course, it wasn't intentional. I don't think anyone thought it was. Just having some post-election fun at his expense.

There are two parts, listen to both.

Cruz supports the TPA, supports the concept of the TPP, and sees no problem with international bi-lateral councils to settle trade disputes. Cruz blames ObamaCare for the jobs lost due to free trade treason. America has been losing manufacturing jobs for 30 years due to bad trade deals long before there was ObamaCare. Furthermore, ObamaCare has little to do with manufacturing jobs because most manufacturers if not all manufacturers in the US provide employer-paid health insurance.

There is not one word of truth in his statements. Trade deals do not "raise revenue because they raise tariffs", free trade deals eliminate tariffs which is why these deals are treated as trade treaties.

Cruz calls Jeff Sessions statements "inaccurate", "false" and "wrong". Sessions calls it a trade treaty which it is. They all are. That's been one of the concerns with all of them.

He just said at one point it's not a treaty then calls it a treaty. Under the US Constitution, a treaty is the highest law of the land.

Be thankful Cruz for President is over.

Yes, I am deeply relieved. There is not a chance Clinton will get my vote.

Trump for president. Full steam ahead.
