Has anyone heard where Duncan Hunter stands on amnesty for the 20 or 30 million illegals already here??
I keep hearing him talk about the fence but can not find out what he thinks we should do with the law breakers here already.

I'm not sure, but that is a very good question!

Illegal Immigration INTERIOR ENFORCEMENT
Why do so many people come? Some experts suggest that the flow of illegal aliens into our country is inevitable because so many people across the globe are poor. What they fail to acknowledge, however, is that approximately 4.5 billion people around the world are more impoverished than the average citizen of Mexico, and nearly all of them choose not to break our nation's immigration laws. No, this wave of illegal immigration is due, in large part, to the unwillingness of the Federal government to enforce immigration laws beyond the border.

The issue of what to do about illegal aliens living in the United States is often presented as a choice between two equally undesirable options: mass roundups to arrest and deport the 12 million-plus illegal aliens currently residing here or grant all illegal aliens amnesty. There is another alternative, however: enforcement through attrition.

This method, which combines strong border security with strong “interior enforcement,” prescribes squeezing the illegal population through consistent, across-the-board enforcement to bring about an annual reduction in the illegal population rather than the annual increases we have seen for more than a decade. Over a few years, the number of illegal aliens would drop significantly, shrinking the problem from a crisis to a manageable nuisance.
