So after polling and we see our candidate is way down, we throw in the towel?
    NOT A DAM CHANCE.
Who knows what will happen but I'm supporting the man I like best and that's Duncan Hunter. I just donated again.

I don't think this man has any illusions about winning the nomination, and when/if he drops out, he'll put his support behind someone he believes is most closely aligned with his agenda.
He still thinks he can win! He has recently said as much (that's good enough for me).

As you can see, he has not plans in the immediate future to withdrawal. The folks that have decided to utilize the excuse "he can't win" to support Romney are being sent down the wrong path by the MSM. I was very disappointed to see Tancredo tread down the same trail.

In the interview provided in the link above Hunter said he's working hard in New Hampshire. He isn't working Iowa because he sees it as a two man race between Romney and Huckabee. Therefore, folks shouldn't give up on him just because he's not polling well in Iowa. He has a stradegy that includes using his finances wisely, not wasting them in the Iowa primary where he's convinced it's a two man race. When asked if he has plans on dropping out soon he said "absolutely not."

For the life of me, I can't understand what folks are thinking when they say he's done. I may concede that if he doesn't do well in NH, NV, WY, or SC (they all have early primaries) that things are looking bleak. However, let's give the man a chance and not discount him before the primaries have even started. Let's not buy in to the MSM rhetoric, and let's definitely not use it as an excuse to give up on the best option we have for fighting illegal immigration and strengthening border security! Tancredo may have let some of us down by pulling out early, but Hunter is not Tancredo and there is still a lot of fight left in him. One things for sure though, his fight will be for not if folks keep buying what the MSM is spouting!

He should be like Tom and withdrawl NOW----or definitely after Iowa.

The situation is now getting desperate----and he is doing more harm by staying in the race.

Tom knew what he was doing when he withdrew at the time that he did, and he knew what he was doing when he selected Romney.

Obviously, you all can do whatever you want----but your support for a candidate who is NOT going anywhere-----is only supporting/guaranteeing that we get stuck with Hillary, Guliani, Huckabee, Obama, or Edwards.
I AM STANDING BEHIND DUNCAN HUNTER UNTIL.... BESIDES, WHO SAYS HE ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE? WITH TANCREDO OUT OF THE RACE, HUNTER WILL GET MORE ATTENTION. WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT THIS POINT? IT'S STILL EARLY.

I'll continue to stand behind Hunter, too, but I'll be thinking ahead to who I can possibly bring myself to support if he bows out. There's a huge gap between Duncan Hunter and the others in terms of my enthusiasm.

He has 1% of the votes in Iowa---and nationally----or less!!

He is NOT going to win.

He is only hurting the situation now by staying in the race.

I have asked this numerous times..........

Can someone please post Hunter's plans for all of the illegals who are here??

Can someone please post Hunter's plans for the employers??

The only thing that I have heard him discuss is the fence, but never anything else.

Can someone please post that info???

    Mitt Romney

Though Mitt Romney was a venture capitalist before he became a politician, his family name was already well known on the U.S. political scene. His father, George W. Romney, was a three-term governor in Michigan, secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President Nixon, and ran a failed campaign for the Republican presidential nomination in 1968. Romney made his own fortune after founding the successful private investment firm Bain Capital in 1984, where he served as CEO until recently. He gained broader fame by serving as president of the organizing committee for the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics. The conservative Romney later won the Massachusetts governorship by a wide margin, even winning over some solidly Democratic areas in the largely liberal state. If elected, Romney would be the first Mormon president of the United States.

Romney’s foreign policy views generally align with those of the Bush administration. He sees Islamicfundamentalists, or “jihadists,â€

From the link that you posted...........

    IMMIGRATION:

Romney has generally taken a hard-line approach to illegal immigration. He spoke out against the comprehensive immigration reform bill that stalled in Senate (NYT) in June 2007, calling it "a form of amnesty." (ABC)

Romney says the United States should implement an "enforceable employer verification system" using biometrically-enabled identification cards (PDF) for non-citizens. On the Bill O'Reilly Show in 2006, Romney said, “you have to have a tamper-proof document to make sure that people who are here [and] are aliens are identified and registered, and people cannot hire them unless they're here legally.â€
