I'm trying to find the old post...I found other posts indicating that she had worked at a laundry mat in Washington State after sneaking in 1997.

She also seems to argue that since her father has MS she needed to come here illegally to pay his medical bills. Yet she had a secretary certificate in mexico and would have been able to land a good paying job there...

It's just sob story crap to try and make Americans support her.

I heard that as well - that the laundry mat was her first job. I'm also searching the net for some old articles. Her organization is called La Familia Latina Unida.

Even her father admits that her illegally coming to the US to help him was an "illusion".

I've also read that she doesn't say anything about the father. Other articles say that she worked as a baby sitter in Washington State, but seeing as it's confirmed she worked at a laundry mat I think it's safe to say that's where she met the father who was also an illegal alien.
