I tried all 3 and there is not a lot I can do about it.

Either their email addresses do not follow the normal pattern FirstName_LastName@SenatorName.senate.gov or they quit.

The House pattern is FirstName.LastName@mail.house.gov

I build the email addresses from the name and when notified I change it (if it is different than the normal pattern.)

Again, what I need is someone to give me the entire address book at the capitol. That would eliminate many of these issues. Anybody got a friend up there; that's willing to provide that?

thats not the case for all members
cuz dana rohrabacher's is simply dana@house.gov or something
similiar and simple as that. its in my addy book

That's not a staffer's address. That's his "global mailbox" that no one reads.

For the senate the protocol is FirstName_LastName@SenatorName.Senate.gov

the house is FirstName.LastName@mail.house.gov

but I presume because of what I've done more and more are going to not use this format.
