I normally support my president. For the most part, I am happy that Donald Trump is President of the United States. He’s got intestinal fortitude of a magnitude the Republican Party hasn’t had since the GOP Revolution in 1994, and we haven’t seen in a President since Ronald Reagan.

Donald J. Trump’s rise to popularity was largely as a result of his tough stance on immigration. “Build That Wall!” became a regular chant at his rallies. And, during the campaign, he said he would end Obama’s unconstitutional executive action called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). The White House illegally mandated the Dream Act into (law?) without legislative authority to do so. The leftist law failed to pass Congress a number of times before Obama decided to unconstitutionally take it upon himself to unilaterally put it into action.

Article I, Section 1 of the Constitution reads that

“All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States.” At no place in the Constitution was the President or his executive branch granted any legislative powers. DACA was put into action by the Obama administration in June 2012, like it was a piece of legislation, but without the President having the legal authority to do so. DACA allows certain illegal immigrants who entered the country as minors to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and eligibility for a work permit. In short, it’s amnesty for kids, which extends amnesty to all of their relatives, because “we don’t want to split up families.”

I have family living in the United States much further away than Mexico, and we are not “split up.” Besides, a great way not to split up a family is to send them all back home together.

“But the child knows nothing about Mexico” is the response.

Then, I guess, the family will be quick about going through the legal process to come back, right?

Trump announced he was going to eliminate DACA. The Republicans who were against it during Obama’s presidency suddenly are for DACA now. And, when the GOP RINOs began crying and begging for Trump to work with them about keeping in place DACA, a policy of the worst president in the history of this country, Trump suddenly went soft when the Republican Party traitors began begging him. Remember, they were against DACA when Obama was President. But, now, RINO Paul Ryan convinced the President to give him some time to create a legislative version of DACA.

They think they are trying to win the votes of the Hispanics. The Hispanics who vote Democrat won’t suddenly vote Republican as a result of this, but the Hispanics who vote Republican will now tell the GOP “adios.” In short, they lost more votes trying to act like Democrats than they would have if they would have acted like Republicans.

While I don’t always agree with Ben Shapiro’s anti-Trump tirades (politically, I am normally in full agreement with Ben), his tweet about all of this definitely makes one think. . .

While I don’t think that Mr. Trump knows nothing about negotiation, in this case he sure came across that way. And what is this “revisit” the issue crap? End it.

What is there to negotiate? Why give them a chance to pass legislation on something you said you would end during your presidential campaign?

Illegal is illegal. Amnesty of any kind is a slap in the face of immigrants who went through the process legally. It also opens up opportunities for abuse. Should there be some kind of pathway? Only if it includes going back home, and then going through the process as it should have been navigated in the first place. This is about the rule of law. This is about national security. This is about being fair to all immigrants by not allowing those who break the rules to get away with it scott-free.

Bad move, Mr. President.

I just hope the GOP controlled Congress has enough sense to say “hell no” to a legislative form of DACA that they were not willing to pass when Barack Obama was in office. It is through this process we will find out who the real Republicans are, and who should just change their designation to a “D” right now.

The "revisit" is revisiting the issue of the expired DACA deportation schedule that starts in March. It's not the program he's revisiting, the program is over, it's when they become high priorities for deportation for failure to leave the country on or before the expiration date of their work permit.

So far I've heard nothing more from Trump other than the tweet he sent saying he would revisit DACA in 6 months if the U.S. Congress doesn't pass a DACA amnesty bill. So where are you getting your information that he was only talking about a deportation schedule? Is this another one of your attempts to obfuscate the issue by shaping the narrative through speculation to cover (make excuses) for Trump?

Nothing else happens in March to "revisit" except the deportation schedule of expiring DACAs.
