Hats off to Ron Paul for speaking out in Congress against these awful body scanners. If we don't stop these now, they will appear in malls, restaurants, street corners, etc.

November 24th is National Opt Out Day - say no to these scanners.

How much power do the American people have?

I like this idea of opt out. Endless possibilities. No need for gun powder either,....not yet. Even Grandma can participate in an opt out.

If our Revolutionary War fighters could wrap their frostbitten and bloody feet in rags to fight for liberty in the dead of winter,..............?

I wonder if it can work?

Stay home this Holiday season and we can cripple the Airlines. Give the TSA the gloved finger! I'll drive to Grandma's house.

Steve, That would cripple the industry. It's not the industry. It's the government controlling things that they shouldn't. I kinda think that one goal that they may have is to do this so people won't fly. Control the people.

Sad fact is the one recourse we have is not flying protest via the pocketbook, yes it will hurt some short term but we have no choice.

The TSA is a huge scam fostered on the American taxpayer, 60+ thousand government employees, plus the sale of big buck scanning machines I suspect if you check ownership or stockholders of said machines it will be familiar names....

Call me a conspiracy nut (I prefer theorist) but I still believe a stinger missile took down flight 800 and it was covered up to protect the industry.

I saw a man on the news who refused to go through the scanner and refused to let the guard "touch his junk". The airport staff threw him out of the airport and they are fining him $10,000 because he would not allow them to look at or touch his privates.

I was just saying the exact same thing, it will get to where people just won't fly unless they absolutely have to.

GoodVibrations is right we don't need to cripple the industry, just slap em' around a little bit.
And let the industry scream at Obama and Soros.

The idea behind large government aka 60000+ TSA employees is building an army of sheep who will follow the orders of those in power.

Again short term some will be hurt financially however the American consumer must buckle down and stop unnecessary spending in this case trips to see grandma for a period of time, power is in the money as we are now a consumer nation.
