Every time I see ACLU I want to scream Shut Up!

The ACLU, the U.N., and the rest of the ratpack need to be bannished from our shores. Let them set up house keeping in Mexico City, or Paris, or Rome, and see how far they get. Or maybe better yet, Shanghai.

The ACLU has done many good things. There preocupation with foreign individual rights have blinded them to the wrongs done by illegal immigration.

This government functions on a balance, not extremes of either the constitution or the bill of rights. These documents reflect american values but in interpretation, we cant ignore the pragmatic.

A better name for the organization might be ther World Civil liberties Union because they only work in part for Americans.

I feel the same way. It burns me up to read when they butt in to protect criminals that not only break the law by coming here illegally, but keep on breaking our laws once they`re here!
The ACLU is no less of a criminal than the illegals.

Anthony Romero, Executive Director of ACLU

is obvious why the ACLU support and defends Hispanic illegal aliens by suing the government and anyone against illegal immigrants and not American Citizens.
Lou Dobbs ask him if he would represent him in suing the federal government for failure to enforce immigration laws.

Romero, an attorney with a history of public-interest activism, has presided over the most successful membership growth in the ACLU’s history and more than doubled the budget and national staff of the organization since he began his tenure. This unprecedented growth has allowed the ACLU to expand its litigation, lobbying and public education efforts, including new initiatives focused on racial justice, religious freedom, privacy, reproductive freedom and lesbian and gay rights.Romero is the ACLU’s sixth executive director, and the first Latino and openly gay man to serve in that capacity. In 2005, Romero was named one of Time Magazine’s 25 Most Influential Hispanics in America, and has received dozens of public service awards and an honorary doctorate from the City University of New York School of Law.

Born in New York City to parents who hailed from Puerto Rico, Romero was the first in his family to graduate from high school. He is a graduate of Stanford University Law School and Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs. He is a member of the New York Bar Association and has sat on numerous nonprofit boards.

Maybe it's just me,but whichever side the ACLU represents I am usually for the other side. I can't recall a case that I have agreed with them on in the last 25 years but I could be wrong.

I do know one thing. They're on the wrong side in the illegal immigration debate.I tend to be on the legal American side on this one.
