    Rep. Dennis Cardoza (D-CA) speaking. I believe there are 31 amendments to this bill. He will be speaking for 1 hour.
    Bill contain crop insurance provisions and the bill (says Cardoza) is completely paid for. "you will hear alot of talk from the other side of the aisle that it will raise taxes...it will not".

    Cardoza has yielded to Rep. Doc Hastings (R-WA) is now speaking about how great his state is...and how pleased he is with this bill.
    Bi-partisan cooperation, etc.

    He is saying that the surprise tax increases ($1 Billion) dash the bills good points.

    Now hes speaking about Asparagus, lovely.

    Rep. James McGovern (D-MA) rises to speak on behalf of the bill.
    Again...this bill is paid for and includes "funding for the McGovern/Dole program offering food for schools".
