Trump has already stated over and over he wants a "pause" on immigration, he wants a "freeze" on green cards, he wants to forbid H1B and J-1 visas through enforcement and higher wages, and no one can come in under the Trump plan unless they can show they can sustain themselves and pay for all their own needs, so there will be no line.
