    A couple Tancredo/Team American endorsements

I got this in e mail just now.

    Dear Friends,

Bay is in Ohio today, but wanted to make sure I
let you know the latest in
the Senate's immigration debate. First of all,
    there is no unity among
the Senators and their individual proposals.
This is great news for us!
Senator Sessions has emerged as the leader in the
    stand for enforcement,
with Senator Grassley close behind. Yesterday,
    the Senators got off
track, with most of the talk focusing on their
    ancestors immigrating to
America. Sessions joined in with an interesting
    point about himself. From
    the Washington Post -

    "My great-great-great-great-grandfather was an
    immigrant, I'm proud to
say," offered Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.). "The
    last one got here about
    1850."

"Did they miss the Civil War, Senator?" Specter
    inquired.

"Lincoln killed one of them at Antietam," the
    senator from Alabama rejoined.

    Other interesting highlights: Grassley clarified
    Specter's plan as "a
wink and a nod to amnesty" for illegals. "If it
    looks acts and smells like
    amnesty then it is amnesty."

Thank these two Senators and encourage them to
    keep up the fight. Senator
    Sessions' office: 202-224-4124; Senator
    Grassley's office: 202-224-3744.

Thank you for all you have done these last weeks
    to fight against amnesty.
We will continue to update our website and send
    out more emails as new
    information emerges!

And don't forget, if you are in OH or PA stop by
and meet with Bay as she
    continues the tour.

    Sincerely,

    Hannah
    Bay's Assistant

OH, EXCELLENT! We have the chink in their armor. Senator Grassley's aid told me yesterday he was against the guestworker program, and I didnt know whether to believe it! This is confirmation.

OF The pro-guestworker Senators on the Judiciary(16), 8 are Republicans who can be swayed if we keep up the threats for voting anti-republican.

WHO DO YOU THINK WILL BE THE NEXT REPUBLICAN SENATOR TO COME OUT AGAINST GUESTWORKERS (on the judiciary)??

I suggest concentrating efforts on Brownback (who has presidential aspirations) and Hatch (who is up for re-election this year). Kyl is also up for re-election this year.

Kennedy is up for re-election. Could Mass be ready to put a Kennedy out to pasture? Unheard of! But Mass passed the tuition restrictions against illegals. It just could happen. WE CAN SURE HARP ON HIM, ANYWAY.

DcSA, I saw your comment about that on another post. I'm glad that some of the people who see what happens every day are endorsing some of the others. At least we have a better idea who's who.

There are, far and away, more Congressmen on our side, it's true. Once we displace a third of the Senate in November perhaps we can set this whole course straight again.

I have seen many of these Broadway Shows........I mean senate debates.....and they can be heated and with no agreement one minute.... and then..... in a heartbeat change to.....a deal has been struck.

However, savvy thinking on this one tells us that even if the senate rejected guest worker amnesty, pro-illegal alien Bush would step in and arm twist it through. Senator Sessions has been our friend in the past and that is why he is our best chance of getting a filibuster if any guest worker amnesty makes it to the senate floor. Keep in mind a filibuster can be overcome by 60 votes but a filibuster would raise passage of any guest worker amnesty from a simple majority to 60.

If they start pushing a pure amnesty bill, I think about 60 thousand of us ought to head for Washington and camp out on the Captiol Steps with picket signs.

    JuniusJnr,
Keep in mind what happened when the Bonus Army went to Washington DC and camped out. The military was used on U.S. citizens who were WWI veterans.
