Thread: Fred Thompson May Drop Out & Endorse McCain

I was just listening to the news and heard that Fred Thompson may drop out if he does not show well today and endorse his friend John McCain. Personally, could he pick a more open borders, give America away to illegal aliens Presidential candidate on the Republican side than Senator McCain?

Oh well, makes me wonder what convictions these candidates have when they will turn around and endorse someone who espouses something quite different than what they say they believe and desire for our nation.

I looked into Thompson, and even considered myself a supporter early on. His cigars made me realize he's just another Washington fatcat, and if this pans out to be true I will be very reassured that I had the right gut feeling about him.

Georgia that is a bogus report. I saw his campaign manager on Fox News this afternoon and he said it is a planted report and he is not dropping out. My guess is McCain would gain the most from him dropping since the poll numbers are near the same. Some think Romney.

What is it with these betrayal endorsements!?!?!?! Gilchrist backs Huckabee, Tancredo backs Romney, and now Thompson may back McCain?!? McCain is the biggest loser outside of the Democratic candidates when it comes to Illegal Immigration.


I've lost my faith in the first two ... I hope the third does not follow through and that the lackeys for all three read this.

Thanks Gogo. What a mess. Well, obviously someone/s wanted to keep this story going. I could see this being a plant story. If he does drop out and endorse McCain however, what a switch for Thompson supporters if they value his talk on illegal immigration and border talk. Another wait and see.

Tancredo enjoys good cigars. That doesn't make him "just another Washington fatcat".
