    Awesome I have listened to some Malmsteen,but had never heard of Gilbert
    Gilbert is the guitarist of the second generation neo classical band RacerX

    Malmsteen was the influence of all the neo classical players like Jason Becker , Marty Friedman and many others , Gilbert included

    Malmsteen started with the band Alcatrazz with Graham Bonnet (Michael Schankar band and Blackmores Rainbow) on vocals

    the style is a bent on classical riffs and scales played with the sweep picking style , its hard to learn ,

    Yes , I'm familiar with Joe

    He is more in the blues style

    Melodic form of blues , Technically he is good to listen to but I can do what he does , nothing to hard here

    Yea he Is more of a blues Genre,but his music Is fun to listen to.... TS

    Great thread. I love all the music posted. I grew up with all of that great music...so awesome!!!

    Since this is a grab bag I thought I would throw in this, to me, it's good listening and it's about what we are going through now.

    Yet no one noticed the videos of Jerry Jeff and GT are ones I took myself at the concerts. You can hear me singing along, very off key.
