She might be pro-illegal because she personally knows more than a few herself. How can you be against illegal immigration if some of your family members are illegals? This might be why she's so unbelievably angry about it to. I'm gonna have to change my cell number.

Gun laws are better in Oregon. Portland and Seattle have quite a few "lefties"...The old timers blame it on the influx of people from the East Coast & California over the years.

Funny!!!! There is a LOT in Portland and Eugene, also plenty in Salem (most of our politicians are!!). I think a true Oregonian values the sovereign freedoms, which includes our government to be "hands off" in our lives, some see this part as being liberal, but I do not.

For example, up here you can home-school your kids with little oversight, no expectations to use particular curriculums and not requiring a degree. This is good, but can be a double-edged sword, as it can backfire when there are lazy irresponsible parents. This is just one example.

Oregon has resisted a lot of government oversight up till now, and to some degree I am glad. However, it has had it's troubles too.

John-Henry, welcome, glad to have more NW'estern people here!!!!

Yes, that sounds a lot like California......That the libs congregate in a few big cities. In our case, its LA and SF. But as a whole, I would say that Californians are strongly against the invasion -- like the rest of the nation. We as well have some treason congress members "representing" us

You know Bearflagrepublic, it is a shame that it appears that SF and LA are representatives of Californians across the board, because we all know that most Americans are not as liberal as the media would like us all to believe.

The unfortunate thing here is that Portland has become the draw for all the "yuppie/new age hippies" who want to live "sustainably". Thus we get all the ones who are huge advocates for "mutliculturalism" (I have dubbed it the "black plague" of the 21st century!), yet these same people do not have to live in apartment complexes where the illegal aliens congregate, with their hundreds of family members they have succesfully moved into other units, and these people have also not had to be subjected to the "oompah" music day and night with the large amounts of broken glass being strewn all over to add to the trash dropped all around.

No, the "sustainable" crowd, the proponents of mulitculutualism have not had to live in the thrid world enviroment many of us have had to endure, if they had, they would have another opinion of the illegals and their invasion.

That is more dead-on accurate than you may even realise......

Sam-I-am, if you are receiving harrassing phone calls, I believe there are legal steps you can take to put a stop to it.

A great comparison. Hopefully, we will not end up with 1/3 of our population dead like Europe did during the bubonic plague.

    Thanks AmericanElizabeth!
I agree with your comment about "multiculturalism" being the "black plague" of the 21st century. It will destroy the us if we let it.

    John-Henry, welcome to ALIPAC!

The rising tide of PC multiculturalism will be the ruin of our republic if it is not stopped, and soon. These people would destroy all that is good in American culture, by the proposition that any other culture is just as good. That proposition is a lie; if Mexican culture is "just as good as ours" why is Mexico a third world cesspool, and America the most prosperous nation on earth? That example alone should serve to demonstrate the fallacy of this socialist concept. Some of us down South call these people "cultural Marxists", and with good reason. Their multiculturalism only extends to those cultures these Marxists like(they have a vitriolic hatred of any culture they disapprove of), and ours in the South is not one the multiculturalist crowd likes-not PC, you see.
