To be alittle fair to Hersheys. I think one of the reasons they are leaving is the high price of sugar in the USA. It is high mostly because of high sugar tarrifs. I remember in Chicago when Brachs closed, they had one of the largest factories I have ever seen and I believe they moved to Canada. Chicago had allot of candy companies, most closed or moved to Canada or Mexico, The news papers mentioned part of the problem was the sugar prices and sugar tarrifs.
Can anyone else verify that part of the problem is the sugar terrifs?

THERE ARE MANY CANDY COMPANIES STILL MAKING CANDY IN THE USA. THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR SUGAR TOO. IF THEY CAN DO IT THEN CERTAINLY HERSHEYS CAN DO IT. THEY WENT FOR THE SLAVE LABOR.
