If amnesty is given to 15 million plus illegals,

If amnesty is given to 15 million plus illegals, this country, as we know it, would be destroyed. Th affects alone of the children born to these illegals would be come eligible for all or some form of social services. Not to mention billions it would cost for processing amnesty. It would be cheaper to send them back to their home countries. It would be a nightmare beyond you wildest imagination. America’s poor and middle class would be affected the most. They do not want to live with us, they want to and is creating a society of their own. They are bringing Mexico to America and our culture and way of life will disappear. There already cities that are 98% Hispanic in souther calif. I see my city, Reno, slowly changing. In some section of the city, I fee I am is Mexico. All the stores are run by Hispanic and the only language you hear is Spanish.

The southeast is now getting the largest increase in estimated illegals, and it's really taking a toll. We weren't prepared but now many are scared and worried....still waking up to the issue.

dyehard39, Not only Mexico, halve of Salvador is already here. A couple of million Salvadorians are protected by the TPS program, and other millions are illegal. Also from Guatemala, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Central America, Caribbean, and South American Countries. We are already invaded, and many Americans don't want to believe it.

I want to know why we don't have more Afro Americans standing here with us in this fight? Clearly they are being hurt just as much as the rest of us maybe more in ways.We need some way to recruit them to come here and stand with us in this fight!

Haven't you heard, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, NAACP,and the Congressional Black Caucus support amnesty and citizenship for illegal aliens. The strange thing is, a lot of individuals blacks in the community don't agree, but unfortunately they are hesitant to jump on board because they don't won't to buck their leadership and be labeled as traitors. Trust me, most African-Americans know they are the losers here, but their leadership has convinced some of them that uniting with the Mexican illegals will make them stronger. You know how it goes, there is strength in numbers or so that is what the the African-American community is being told, but like many whites, a significant number of blacks privately express doubts, even animosity, toward illegal immigrants. They are not all followers, we do have some influential black leaders supporting a tougher stand against illegal immigration. One gentleman that comes to mind in that category is Alan Keyes.

Black leaders support amnesty because the Democrats support amnesty.
The irony is that the average black American has nothing at all in common with the leading Democrats like Ted Kennedy. Feinstein, Pelosi. Dean, Hillary..................et al These people are super rich and they are in politics for an ego trip. They like every other politician I can think of are not Statesmen. They could care less for black Americans or any other Americans for that matter.

I'm not too happy with the leadership of my party, but be
careful. I was born a southern dem & like DoTell Zell, I'll
probably die with my boots on. A lot of dems & black legal
American citizens may be coming around. You cannot ignore
the history & irony of forced immigration for black Americans
& they need some time to understand the issues. The best
tack is to point out a lot of repubs stood for civil rights &
insisted we follow our laws, just as they do today. It isn't
called the party of Abe for nothing. Keep pointing out it
was obedience to the law which forced a change in enforcement
and attitudes. If black Americans were entitled to agitate
for enforcement of their rights, they should understand
when some of us insist on denial of non-rights for illegals
(just as Southern pols were denied their non-rights.)

Not to put too fine a point on it ... you cannot be too happy
about a repub president who has bullied his party & our
country into some bad mojos & almost pulled off the biggest
    pardon rush in history.

    dem4labor,

The Revs that are supporting this are doing it for money. That is why they do what they do, in any situation. Someone is giving them money. Is it LaRaza, LULAC, Mexico, our government. Someone is paying them to sell out their people.

The black people have been hurt the worst by this invasion. I saw that happen here in the chicken industry. A lot of black people worked in that business. A couple working in the processing plant, or running an 'farm' could have a pretty good living. They had insurance, and could do OK. They could raise their kids, and with some help, send them to college. They wren't getting weathly, but they did have jobs and it wasn't just slave wages, either.

Then came the illegals - the blacks - and whites - were let go in favor of illegals. They didn't have to pay them as much, didn't have to collect and match taxes, carry insurance - instant profits as far as the chicken company was concerned.

    The blacks are being hurt.

The problem is the blacks who are working hard, making a living, moving up, are not interested in getting involved in any of these.

The poor who are out of a job would rather choose the 'victim' role and blame white people, unless they are Democrats, and side with the illegals.

I will tell you, and I am not stereotyping, but a lot of the older - as in mature black people are frightened of the MExicans. They are physically frightened of them. That may be why they aren't speaking out or taking sides.

I have the upmost respect for Zell Miller, if we had more democrats like him, I would have no problem voting for them.Bad thing is though the ones who have any backbone at all are being black listed by the regular democrats! A long time ago, I was a democrat, now I see nothing of which I believe in their party or most of them anyway. The democratic has been hijacked by the liberals, and the republican party, even our president are making republican party into a bad name. At least though we have more republicans hanging tough on this illegal invasion and lack of border security then we do democrats. I have always tried to do my civic duty and vote as I think it is a priviledge and one of the most important ways to keep our democratic society as we know it. If it were not for this issue facing us now with illegal immigration, then for the first time in many many years I would probably stay home and not even go in to vote this year! I am disgusted with all of our leaders not with just one party or the other! Then again if we don't get out there and vote then I feel we have lost the right to gripe about what is happening to us. Maybe that is what a lot of our leaders are hoping this year that a whole lot of us will just stay at home instead of voting them out as they are afraid we are going to do because of our disgust and mistrust of them so, no I will go and I will vote them the hell out of office!

That is not counting all the family members that they will be able to bring here legaly after becoming citizens, under the Family unification rules. you are looking at at leat another 40 millions in addition to the 15 millions already here, and since the newcomers will be legal, they will qualify for all services from wellfare to Medicare So be ready.!!!
