I emailed a friend yesterday regarding illegal's and the California economy being broke:

Solution:
California's nearly 3 million illegal immigrants cost taxpayers nearly $9 billion each year, Arnold, stop talking to your Hollywood friends, appoint someone with a business background and believes in the rule of law and you'll have 2 billion extra to use to prop up the CA economy.
I guess letting Illegal Aliens freely invade our country HAS an impact after all....brilliant.
Consider how much the country as a whole is spending on free healthcare, free education, free school buildings, cost for law enforcement and incarceration and infrastructure costs, etc.
We give away everything, want more social programs and socialized healthcare and we wonder why we're in a financial crisis...unbelieveable.

One illegal alien was arrested this year in Tucson after allegedly using a stolen social security number to buy two homes and rack up over $780,000 in bad debt.

Some five million fraudulent home mortgages are in the hands of illegal aliens, according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

It’s not known how many of those have contributed to the subprime housing mortgage meltdown, but it has affected every state, including Arizona.

The problem began years ago when banks were forced to give mortgages without confirming social security numbers or borrower identification. As a result, illegal immigrants were able to obtain home mortgages which they could not afford.
