Gramnesty killing amnesty for this year?
Lindsey Gramnesty say's. "since health care reform has passed through reconciliation Immigration reform will not pass this year.".
In other words he is saying that Grahamnesty will not work or push through an amnesty bill this year.
Question: Does that mean the republicans will be able to fillibuster an amnesty bill should the Dems push one?
Are we safe this year until the November ellections?
Will the Main rino Republicans work with the Democratic socialists?
I have been saying that this is the last chance to pass amnesty if the conservatives make large gains in November.
Please let me know what you think.

No, Americans are NOT in the safe zone, Obama and Pro-Amnesty forces are working diligently behind the backs of American citizens on CIR so as to remain very non-transparent...

I know we are never in the safe zone, but now that Grahamnesty is retaliating against Obama and the Dems. Do we have a fillibuster proof Senate until November. Does anybody know?

I would not let our guard down a bit. There is never any telling how some Senators might switch...even at the last minute. Instead concentrate on the Midwest Democrats and fence sitting Republicans like Snowe, Collins, Graham, and McCain.

We should keep our guard up and be ready to fight and in fact prepare for the fight now.
We need McCain to lose in AZ and we need Grahmnesty to be on edge (like he currently is for his future in his job).
The Senate is 41 Rep's so they only have the 60 needed "safety factor" by one vote.
What if one of the other Open Border Rino's votes yes?
I think Republicans have seen and heard the response from Conservative voters and Tea Party members loud and clear and know that if they were to vote for a amnesty bill it would be the death of their Senate career.
BUT for those Rino Repub's in more liberal states like Snowe - it is hard to gauge.
I say that as long as Obama is in office and there are Rino's in the Senate then we stay on guard.
Also please note Poizner a Republican in CA is running for Gov of CA. He is saying he will put into law or on a ballot for CA voters to vote on a bill that will END all "freebies" to illegal aliens. It is the same law that is on the books in 10 states and so has passed the "court challenges".
If we can also in Nov get some more Gov's that support border enforcement and federal law enforcement and laws like both AZ and OK have enacted then we will come a long way in a short time in clamping down on illegal aliens.

I just checked the Numbers USA web site and read an article by their net working manager Chad Mac Donald. He says nothing is happening in regard immigration reform. In the article he mentioned that there was some talk of a targeted amnesty, I understood it to be the type that could be slipped into another bill. Another group said there was less than 1% chance immigration reform legislation would happen this year. Apparently the passing of the health care reform bill has doomed any cooporation with Republicans this year. Next year will be another game entirely, should the Democrates be facing a major up-set.
If Conservatives have a land slide victory this November that could kill amnesty for another year.
I am going to be pushing for the victory this November, so I'll be out with my sign on the April 15 Tea Party.
P.S. Did any one else see on the Drudgereport that according to a U.K. newspaper 25% of conservatives in the US think Obama the devil incarnate. I wasn't part of the poll but it does reflect my point of view.
