Thread: Hazleton Rally 6/3/07

One thing I forgot to mention was the speech by Carmen Morales of "You Dont Speak for Me." She was cheered after almost every sentence. What a tremendous person. She represents what is good when it comes to immigration. She is so proud to be an American.......absolutely awe inspiring.

Howdy folks!

I'm staying in Hazelton one more evening because of the heavy rains on the way back home.

This was a truly historic and awe inspiring event.

We had over 2,000+ people show up!

The speeches were so well received and an allied blogger captured mikne on video. We hope to have that up for you soon.

I'm not 100% certain, but I think the crowd almost roared at one point in the speech. Not really sure what happened there because I was caught up in what I was doing.

Special thanks to JP for getting the quick stats on murder rates and tb rates South of the US border.

I will write more for everyone when I am more rested than I am now.

It was really great to meet everyone in person at the rally.

To be there in person must have been incredible. Keep spreading that message. And I look forward to the day I can hear William and other speakers in this arena.

I would definitely call this rally a success from the description. It seems like the crowds are growing too.

I heard breifly on KABC 790 AM in Los Angeles that there is a march planned for June 23rd at 12:00 pm. I am not sure of the location but I thought I heard it was going to start at Martin Luther King Blvd. Has anyone heard anything about this...or have more accuarate details?
