The former president said his greatest failure in office was not passing Social Security reform.

. If Bush had gotten his way on Social Security then it would have crashed just like the stock and real estate markets. The Republican Party Leadership is incompetent, irrational and self-destructive. That's why there's a tea party movement to begin with. And that's way they'd like to wreck the movement if they can.

Not very many are really saying that. You have to remember that Bush left office with a 22% approval rating. He left as the most unpopular President in modern history since Nixon or perhaps Hoover.

Obama's approval ratings are still almost twice those Bush left office with.

It seems to me they should have given themselves more than a week because I see no way in 8 days they can change the out come of the House take over.

There is good and bad in the tea parties just as their is good and bad in both political parties. We all know their goal and who is pushing it... This fight is just beginning, The Obama's the Bushs, the Clintons, George Soros, CFR, MSM etc. we have to Identify and expose them.

I believe their is more people in this country that stand for freedom, Liberty and the Constitution, they are waking up....we will win and save this country from their progressive agenda for our children....It will be a hard fight but we are Americans, mess with Americans God, Country and family and you will get our attention and a fight you will wish you had not started.

The fight has only just begun...fight it with all your heart and we will achieve and savor the victory...the numbers are on our side and growing!

After the election hold the Houses feet to the fire...all will be worried about 2012 so we will have some leverage to push forward.

Expose all the traitors every chance you get!

Great assessment of the situation SOSADFORUS. I agree. People are waking up. Not just the run from this party to that other party type of wake up, but, the real awakening is beginning. The blinders are coming off. The box lid has been torn off, and there ain't enough nails in the shed to nail it back down.

I get to travel all around and sometimes I wear a T-shirt that says on the back, "Don't Blame Me I Voted For The American." I get all kinds of people coming up and commenting and starting conversations. This is not the talk of the past political disenfranchisment or apathetic may as well sit on our hands type of comments. People are seeing through the duopoly.

Billboards all around the country are up and some of them are hilarious and bold. One just north of Kansas City says NARCISSIST in very large letters taking up the whole board,......nothing else, just that word. Birther boards, truther boards, anti-incumbent boards, constitutionalists boards, what a blast!

Let the party begin! Roast'em, toast'em, and don't let them get away!

That is good new roundabout....I hardly get out of Idaho!! I love the way Americans go about fighting back also!!

I think it is out of the RINO's and Democrats hands. I had a great experience this weekend that showed me the true heart of this country.

What is happening in America is a lot bigger than our politicans can imagine. Wednesday I received two phone call's from grandaughters in two different colleges asking: Nana can we come home for the weekend. Next thing I knew we had children, grandchildren, nephews and grandnephews all converging on us. All wanting to come home.

Until this happened we did not know that everyone considered our home as "home". It took awhile to find out what the driving force for this invasion of our young on us was, but it finally came out that it is the upcoming election. The anxiety and fears about our government and their future.

This was a true town hall or I guess family meeting. We had both Dem and Republicans. Active military, college students, union workers, and retired all hashing out their feelings and fears.

I can only hope that what I wittnessed this weekend is spreading across America and that our young will be going back to their roots, back to the core of what made America great. They will be talking to us seniors that still remember what a great country America once was.
