Just a reminder that the Committee markup meeting on the Bill that contains the La Raza funding appropriations measure is taking place now, live at the above link.

What gall to think we want to spend OUR money on a group who supports and encourages illegal aliens. Wonder what is put in their food or drink?

I just spoke with Congressmen Patrick McHenry's (R-NC, 10th district) Legislative Director. She informed me that the La Raza funding bill ($25 million) H.R. 1999 has been absorbed into H.R. 4051 "the Housing Assistance and Authorization Act; A BILL to authorize appropriations for assistance for the National Urban League, the Raza Development Fund, the Housing Partnership Network, and the National Community Renaissance Program, and for other purposes."

This bill is being marked up in the House Financial Services Committe tonight! Then it will be voted on tomorrow in the a.m. If passed, it will move to the House for scheduling. She said it is expected to pass through Committee and be brought to the House floor.

The Committe will be debating H.R. 4051 at approx. 6:15 pm this evening, Wedesday, November 7. You can catch the action live here:

I just read the article from CNN on the children of Iraq and how many are abandoned and how many are injured, etc. It seems there isn't enough money to provide the care that is needed for these kids.

Now, yes, it may have been printed with an agenda in mind, I don't know, but I believe it is happening. You can't have war like that for that many years, and not have a lot of people harmed - children most of all.

We owe something to these kids - we owe squat to La Raza and the illegal population.
