Thread: HR 4437 emails

I work for a major radio station in Los Angeles. I got this as an email forward today from a Mexican woman I work with. I have since received it 4 times! She sent it to everyone in all of our radio stations in Los Angeles!!!

If HR 4437 is passed:
No school or work on May 1st. tell everyone you know not to attend school and tell your parents not to work the movie "A Day Without a Latino" will become real. All Latinos have to work together to make this happen to prove to everyone that the U.S. is NOTHING without us. On May 1st don't even go into the streets! don't buy ANYTHING! Stay at home and kick it. watch the U.S. struggle without us. May 1st will be the day the gov't loses tons of money and realizes who really runs this country.

** if you are going to be involved please do it with class. don't act stupid because not only will you make yourself look bad, but you will make ALL OF US look bad. Represent the Latino community with pride and honor. People will expect us to riot and go nuts but show them that we are BETTER than their stereotype.

Yep, heard about this on the news. Plus that they were wanting that day as a national holiday. I did notice that they did give a footnote to illegals from other countries. But it's fine with me. I think they may just find out we do just fine and the only people they'll hurt is the big business.

Here in California, some politicos want all the schools to close to celebrate this as a "floating" holiday.

By the way, Judy, they're not illegals anymore.

The correct term is undocumented citizen.

I am in CA to and I heard the same thing. What a shame...they are teaching kids to take off school to protest this cause. This is just ridiculous.

It's funny they chose May 1st.

I've been hearing this an various news channels. It's sad that they think so little of the country that puts a roof over their head and give's them oppurtunities no other country will.

1). impose a flat tax and transfer most of IRS staff into border
security
2). ship all old cars, crushed metal products, and old tires to border,
making a solid pile 30' tall--cover with dirt and cement layers....viola--
a WALL.!..post National Guard along the border; (MOD EDIT)
3). give out national ID, LEGAL citizen cards...tamper proof ones..to registered LEGAL citizens
4). impose STIFF penalities on employers who hire ILLEGALS--put some of the ex-IRS staff in the field to "pose" as illegals....for any businesses who hire them, who pay "cash, under the table" CONFISCATE THEIR
holdings and ASSESTS
(the old, former IRS people should know ALL about that!)
IF WE CAN SEND MEN TO THE MOON, WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO

to our politicians: courage is having the nerve to do what you
know needs to be done, even though all around you are
caving in....maybe we need 2 yr., 1 time only term limits
to take all the focus of RE-ELECTION out of the legislative process
