Hundreds of voters un-register after Trump voter fraud panel demands info

Hundreds of voters are responding to the possibility their information will be shared with President Trump’s election integrity panel by withdrawing their voter registration, according to a Friday report.

In Colorado, one of the states that is complying with part of the commission request, two clerks have seen a significant increase in voters withdrawing their voter registration, Denver’s ABC affiliate reported.

In Denver, one clerk has seen a 2,150 percent increase in people withdrawing as voters over the past since July 3 compared to the first non-holiday week before.

Colorado allows voters to withdraw online or make their information confidential by paying a fee.

The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity last week requested all 50 states to upload publicly available voter information to a federal website. The information requested, in a letter signed by Vice Chair Kris Kobach, includes voter names, birth dates, the last four digits of Social Security numbers and party affiliation.

Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams is releasing publicly available voter information including full name, address, party affiliation and date the person registered, phone number, gender identity, birth year and voting history.

The state will not provide Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, full date of birth or email addresses.

A majority of states are refusing to supply all or part of the information the commission requested.

Rats leaving the sinking ship! I bet a large percentage of those trying to remove their registration are illegal aliens, non-citizens, felons, and other disqualified Democrats.

Colorado is one the leading states in voting fraud just behind Nevada and of course California.

They probably don't realize that the Trump campaign committee, and that of every other politician running for office in Colorado, likely already has that information.

Hundreds of Denver-area voters unregister in wake of Trump probe

JULY 12, 2017, BY Michael KONOPASEK

DENVER -- People across Colorado are busy canceling their voter registrations.

What's being described as a massive nationwide effort is underway to prevent the Trump administration from receiving voters’ personal information. President Donald Trump's election integrity commission is asking for voter registration data from all 50 states.

In nearly two weeks, roughly 1,100 people in the Denver metro area's three largest counties took their names off voter registration rolls. The amount of people taking action in Colorado and nationwide is unprecedented in many counties.
Voters are telling county employees they do not trust Trump with their personal information.

“We definitely attribute it to what’s going on federally,” Denver Elections Division spokesman Alton Dillard said.

Dillard said 515 Denver County voters canceled their registrations from July 3 to Wednesday. Another 223 voters changed their status to confidential during the same time period. While those numbers represent a handful of registered voters in Denver County, typically, officials only see a handful of voters unregister or change their status over the course of a month.

Information such as addresses, phone numbers and election participation could soon be sent from Denver to Washington as part of Trump’s investigation into alleged widespread voter fraud.

The White House has not provided evidence of such fraud.
The privacy effort extends beyond Denver. Arapahoe County officials said since July 1, more than 200 voters canceled registrations and another 80 went to confidential status.
In Jefferson County, 368 voters are no longer on the rolls and 56 are listed as confidential.

“If people do take that step -- which is their right -- we do want to make sure they reregister when they’re comfortable because there are elections coming up,” Dillard said. “To us, all elections are important.”

A majority of voters said Wednesday they won’t take action but are concerned. Others did not express any concern.

Elections officials stress sensitive information such as Social Security numbers and full birth dates cannot be released.
Those who don’t want their information shared with the White House are being advised to unregister online or in person before Friday.

Those who choose to stay registered under confidential status will be required to sign an affidavit stating they feel harmed in some way.

Most counties in Colorado charge $5 to become confidential. Denver County is waiving that fee.
