    The ZMag link is interesting.

Most people don't realize that the Reconquista movement is simply another facet of world socialism.

If you crash any of these pro-amnesty rallies-which I've done several times in the past-you can't help but be bombarded by messages of revanchist, obscurantist Communism.

These people worship Che, not Caesar Chavez.

I collected a whole batch of old left rags, e.g. The Militant, The Worker's World, at the last event.

He's not some open-borders, Weekly Standard fan.

In fact, he probably disagrees with the editorial position of that magazine more often than not.

The problem is that he-like a lot of Americans-unfortunately doesn't realize the magnitude of this problem, or is willing to slough off the issue of open borders, as if it's not going to have an existential impact upon our society.

As another poster mentioned, Michelle Malkin-whom I greatly esteem, and who's one of my favorite pundits-doesn't even realize the totality of this scheme.

She's great on immigration, but too willing to cut Bush & Co. slack, at least insofar as she's not portraying the full scope of his agenda.
    This is not, sadly, unusual.

About a 2 months ago, Laura Ingraham in responding to a caller:
"I'd have to check THAT out. I've never heard about an SPP"
    Now, that's just freaking unbelievable.

These people are so out of touch and YES, give bush slack? How about a complete pass........."my president!"

Anyone ever hear of RESEARCH, lol.

I know what your saying, SHAPKA, but I now hold back from making a decision on these people while watcing their "actions." Talk is not cheap ---it's now worthless.

    That's the problem.

We have lost any sense of gravity.

Not only as a nation, but as a culture.

The concept of national sovereignity, or patriotism is merely something to snark at.

I wish I could say this sort moral idiocy were confined to smug liberal airheads in places like Madison, Seattle and San Francisco, but unfortunately I don't think that's the case.

    Well, of course.

Their funding is coming directly or by circuitous route from the old Lefties and anti-war gangs of the 60's/70's .........who were funded by the Soviet Union and their entities.

Remember this, SHAPKA.......the perfect storm = Viet Nam. It ALL came together during that time period when the Soviets {jf kerry / clinton included} used the anti-war gang & their extensions to mold their "leaders" and eventually to place them in every institution in America. Both government and private. kerry & clinton were their upper eschilon experiments! McCain is also more than a probability to be included in that subset.

The pragmatists straddle both sides of the isle and are using these "groups" to further their "new world order." They're using the 3rd world populace to dismantle the sovereignty of ALL countries. But, we are the most difficult and toughest of all the countries! We are the burr under their saddle!! The "stubborn American people."

We are here, today, the final battle.

Go over to www.bluelatino.org and post some comments. They go unchallenged in spewing their venom. They talk about anti-immigrant and never, ever mention anything about illegal. They are stirring up as much hate as possible and I'm sure a lot of ignorant people read that stuff and get a totally wrong impression of what's going on.

I'm waiting to see if they post my comment...it will take some guts if they do. They were bragging about winning the election for the Democrats as if they controlled the whole thing. I pointed out the problem in their little scheme......47% of Latinos voted for the Arizona propositions. I know they hate to admit they are NOT some kinda united powerhouse, but what is pathetic is they are a .ORG!

Not to mention the fact that Latinos don't vote in the same numbers-aggregate-as African-Americans or Caucasians.

These people are halfwits, which is why almost every argument they compose boils down to: "YOU'RE A XENOPHOBE!"

I think this thread is one of the most intriguing I’ve had the pleasure to read on Hot Air. I’d like to see more threads here about the topic of the North American Union.

Because something scary is going on with the globalists.

Gregor and his fellow commentators are not moonbats, folks. Not by a long shot. I laughed about the NAU when I heard Lou Dobbs make a reference to it a few months back. Then I started investigating. It’s more than a map showing a superhighway stretching from Mexico to Canada. As the links already posted show–in nauseating detail–we’ve got folks like the CFR advocating integration between Mexico, the U.S., and Canada. Sure, they talk about shared economies and the like, but all other things flow from the economy. History, religion, politics, culture–none would exist without economics. How many studies have you read about the history, politics, and culture of hunter/gatherers? Very few. That’s because these people had an extremely limited economy. They killed and picked food and stuck it in their mouths, giving them precious little time to ponder philosophical questions about the social sciences. But once man figured out how to create a sustainable economy that could store and transfer goods, we started seeing things like written language, history, political hierarchies, and all that other stuff. If you doubt the importance of economics to the social sciences, I suggest you pick up a few books from Fernand Braudel. He wrote extensively about how economic flows shaped every aspect of European life.

ANYWAY, what I’m trying to say is that economics shapes us (or more ominously, changes us) in ways we don’t easily recognize. And by creating superstates based on economics, cultural and social changes soon follow. Look at the European Union. The Euro begat legal bodies issuing all sorts of bizarre pronouncements about what member states could or could not do in things totally unrelated to the economy. You’re not going to have something like NAFTA and CAFTA (and other economic trade agreements we’re trying to forge with countries like Peru) without some serious changes in our society.

You know, I had a lot more to say about this but I’m just too tired and I need to rest in order to stuff on turkey later today. I could go on about how labor is increasingly seen as just another commodity, another product, that should move about as easily as a HD television set. I won’t. I will leave you with one important statement about superstates made by a man who wrote a little book quite a few years ago:

“We’ve always been at war with Eastasia.”
